Norwegians Sing “Children of the Rainbow”

Norway

Hitler was justified in conquering this country.

Lillebjoern Nilsen’s ”Children of the Rainbow,” a Marxist song that Anders Breivik hates, is a Norwegian rendition of the Yankee Pete Seeger’s “Rainbow Race.” Seeger also likes to perform the communist Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land” which asserts an imperialistic claim over the Gulf States.

Both songs reek of the degenerate Unitarian Universalism of the Northeast.

I am guessing that when this person refers to "The Gulf States" he does not mean Al-Kaleej.

More the lot who lost in 1865 but won't admit it.

"This land is your land, this land is my land
From California, to the New York Island
From the redwood forest, to the gulf stream waters
This land was made for you and me."

Not made for you? Fine by me.

Oh, the horror. People of many races, getting along. ALERT THE FUCKING MEDIA, WE GOTTA CRISIS ON OUR HANDS!! Surely, every time someone makes an effort to learn new languages, earthquakes shake the very moral foundations of society! Inevitably, when mixed children play with one another in a park, Satan cackles with glee! Undoubtably, whenever people of two different races have sex, JESUS CRIES AND A KITTEN DIES.

"Lillebjoern Nilsen’s ”Children of the Rainbow,” a Marxist song that Anders Breivik hates.."

I hope they play it for him every day for the rest of his life.

Also, you wouldn't know Marxism if it bludgeoned you over the head with a copy of Das Kapital.

This kind of confabulation of ideas is characteristic of oligophrenia. Then again, though, Hunter's Phallus was occidentally conceived; why shouldn't his ideas go and be likewise?

Rabbit, go help yourself to a delicious salad. Dark green lettuce is genuinely soothing, especially when lightly sautéed in a little olive oil. El Ahraira bless you for your iron...

I knew that Americans would be opposed to songs of tolerance and brotherhood! Seriously, I can't remember the last time a song like that was sung WITHOUT American reactionaries having a hissy fit, which is why I said "Americans" instead of "racists". (Hey, it isn't racism if you're attacking a group you yourself are part of.)

That said, I always thought "This Land Is Your Land" was just a patriotic song. The only way I think the white supremacist would have issue with it is if he is also a Neo-Confederate or something... which makes perfect sense! After all, he's a racist!

In that case, white supremacist, here's a better song for you:

This land is my land and only my land.
If you don't git off, I'll chop your head off.
Your blood will be red, like cherry pie-ie-ie...
This land was made for you to die...

The traditional perversion is:

This land was your land, but now it's my land
I've got a shotgun, and you don't got one
I'll blow your head off, if you don't get off
This land was really made for me

This site must have jaded me but, I've seen some racists thinking Breivik had a point before he killed roughly 80 people most of them children, I could believe that some islamophobes liked that he "Took action" against multiculturalism. I can even believe the depths of the bastardry of the people who still think communism is a threat would lead to thinking the children were "Indoctrinated" anyway

But after Breivik's trial, after watching him use Wikipedia to sound smart, after hearing him badly misquote Bushido to sound tough, after he admitted to thinking Quisling was a hero, after hearing about his WoW obsession, and finding out about his failed businesses and blatant tax fraud, I don't see how anyone could think the guy is right about ANYTHING, even if he didn't commit one of the worst acts of domestic terrorism on record.

I doubt this sort of person would understand Marxism if Karl Marx himself rose from the grave and beat them over the head with Das Kapital. With Engel's administering a good kicking.

I'm starting to get the impression that Hunter Wallace might be something of a sociopath, or a just a bigoted keyboard warrior.

I guess I was under the mistaken assumption that Woody Guthrie's song was about all Americans enjoying this land we share with each other. After all, he wrote it after traveling around the country during the Depression, but what do I know? Since you used the words "communist" and "Marxist," you obviously know what you're talking about.

'This Land is Your Land' is fucking awesome (as was Woody Guthrie, generally) and it really ought to be the anthem of the US.

"[D]egenerate"? What is it with racists and their ilk, and their obsession with strength? Did strength become its own purpose when I wasn't looking?

Hunter Wallace, like Breivik, is the human (term used loosely) equivalent of Lutefisk (Scandinavian, super-stinky, gelatinous lye-treated salted codfish).
