The United States foreign policy has been a disaster for decades.
Forcing South Africa to turn that nation over to an evil Communist regime was patently stupid and totally unfair. Joining the UN in banning DDT was another large mistake. The Gorebal Warming fiasco is an unbelievable lie that the current ‘leaders’ endorse.
There is so much more, but placing the sinful homosexuals on a pedestal to be a gaggle honored is simply the most wrong-headed attempt at ‘policy’ ever conceived by man.
What sane person would think that placing one’s penis up another’s anus is another of God’s Plans? These perverts wonder why AIDS and other assorted diseases is visited upon them? After all, they’re just in love with someone and since that someone hasn’t a vagina on him there are other orifices to explore.
Then there’s the practice of cleaning the partner’s dipstick thereby ingesting fecal matter as well as shoving one’s mouth up the other’s anus.
Does this make sense to anyone?
Checking out the history of serial killers we find the very large majority of these multiple murders are committed by committed homosexuals.

It's true that the ANC took Soviet aid. So did a lot of forces hostile to the US or nations which, for whatever reason, the US chose to align itself with. Even ones which, despite occasionally saying some rhetoric in exchange for weapons, were in no way communist.
Judging by their post-Cold War history, it's clear the African National Congress is no more communist than the Irish Republican Army.

The Palestine Liberation Organization also had Soviet backing and aid even though Arafat wasn't a communist or even a social-democrat.
Still, the difference I think is that the ANC was pretty explicitly socialist, as was SWAPO. I'm not sure about the ANC, but I'm fairly sure if SWAPO had taken power in the 70's it would have had a "Marxist-Leninist" one-party government similar to those of Angola and Mozambique.
Not saying that the ANC being socialist was some sort of strike against it or anything, of course.

The ANC used to and still does use a lot of socialist and communist rhetoric. It gets them votes time and again. Also the tri-partheid alliance is made up of the ANC, largest union COSATU and the communist party. However, despite that their actions are clearly not communistic. They have become incredibly autocratic and have abandoned any semblance of governance in favor of helping a small political elite live in luxury. 2 of the 9 provinces are now under national government administration after a complete disintegration of all provincial municipal services. While at the same time they strive for new laws and constitutional changes to limit the media and judiciary.
