So fucking what?

Fawful has seen God has a vagina on top of his penis
You didn't conquer it, as much as the gringos conquered Tejas. They sneaked inside the territorry and infected it with their shit so much they eventually held power over it.
4/22/2012 10:59:21 AM
Someone actually knows about Elagabalus. I'm impressed.
4/22/2012 11:01:59 AM
You're the one doing the hating. Throw away that shiny mirror because I think it's too shiny.
4/22/2012 11:19:28 AM
What do "gay cure" ads have to do with Christianity? Jesus never mentioned homosexuality.
4/22/2012 11:21:57 AM
Don't give yourself too much credit. Generally, atheists don't have the time or energy to hate all nutjob Christians, we just hate what your delusions do to the rights of non-Christians.
"Christians competed with and conquered the Roman Empire..."
And led us face first into the dark ages, the suppression of knowledge, and the torture and execution of huge numbers of innocents.
4/22/2012 11:46:12 AM
[Christians competed with and conquered the Roman Empire, that was run, amongst others, by the bi-sexual antichrists Nero, Commodus and Elagabalus.]
And then you led us straight into the dark ages where people were stoned for bullshit reasons and afraid of monsters.
4/22/2012 11:49:46 AM
So what you're saying is that Christians have been fighting with people for 2000 years?
4/22/2012 11:49:54 AM
How many antichrists are there? Do they come in six-packs?
4/22/2012 11:50:42 AM
There's more than one antichrist?
4/22/2012 11:58:45 AM
@OhJohnNo: There always was. All biblical references to antichrists were always used with a lower case "a", indicating that it is an improper noun and therefore implying that there can be more than one. In fact the definition of antichrist is simply one who acts in opposition to Christ. It was only later that the idea of the Antichrist, an individual who would posses all the powers of the Christ, but be born from Satan and use them for evil came about later, when Christians discovered it was a great thing to call a pope you didn't want to support. Over the centuries the criteria of the Antichrist has been constantly tweaked, to further suit the political agendas of the time.
Then never was a singular Antichrist, and there never will be. It was something invented by Christians to call other Christians they didn't like.
4/22/2012 12:05:38 PM
>Christians competed with and conquered the Roman Empire
and the moment they were in charge, it literally snapped in half and crumbled away.
4/22/2012 12:06:39 PM
@Osiris: You mean this raving fundie here might actually be one of the only people on the site using the term correctly?
4/22/2012 12:31:15 PM
And then the christians promptly destroyed the greatest civilization that mankind had ever known.
4/22/2012 12:32:47 PM
"Christians are used to being in competition with reality that undermines it."
4/22/2012 12:54:06 PM
"Christians are used to being in competition with antichrist-communities that hate them."
No charlsby, They arent.
Christians are used to being the biggest bully on the block, and having everything their own way.
4/22/2012 1:02:37 PM
Commodus was the most inconsequential of the Roman emperors. A pimple on the ass of the Roman Empire. Why is he on the list?
Oh, yes. charlesby saw the movie Gladiator and thinks Commodus was some big important character in Roman history.
4/22/2012 1:16:34 PM
Correct me if i am wrong, but didnt emperor constantine establish Chrisitanity as the roman state religion in the fourth century? and didnt the roman empire keeping on going for around 2 centuries?
in reality, lead plumbing was responsible for the decline and fall of the roman empire
4/22/2012 2:15:33 PM
Correct me if i am wrong
1. Yes, but he wasn't the first; far from it. Check your history books. It's not a simple matter with a simple answer.
2. Urban legend is not a substitute for historical reality. Trash the lead pipe story.
4/22/2012 2:31:45 PM
Superstition trumps all, eh?
4/22/2012 3:11:33 PM
Yeah, because bisexuals are evil
4/22/2012 3:19:05 PM
But ironically, it was that whole conquering-by-force thing that was totally against Christ's teachings, so, not something to brag about.
4/22/2012 3:28:16 PM
Is it bad that I want to hug this fundie for understanding that (a) bisexuality exists, and (b) knowing that Elagabalus exists? Because I do?
4/22/2012 3:50:59 PM
Christians are used to being in competition with antichrist-communities that hate them. competed with and conquered the Roman Empire, that was run, amongst others, by the bi-sexual antichrists Nero, Commodus and Elagabalus.
first thing: the roman empire was not a religion. 2nd thing: if its a whole community of antichrists then there is no longer an antichrist as said in the bible due to the fact that there is/will be only 3 antichrists in the course of history (rule of three baby). finally: only Julius Caesar was bisexual. the rest weren't
4/22/2012 4:09:03 PM
Someone doesn't know their history do they?
4/22/2012 4:29:47 PM
