Honey, I'm queer. Specifically, I'm pansexual. I have absolutely no preference when it comes to my prospective partner's sex organs or gender expression.
That said, I'm pretty fuckin' aware that straight people exist. Kinda hard not to, considering that, like, 95% of the population is heterosexual. And I'm also aware that unwanted sexual advances are icky. So, I don't make them.
Same as if I were a straight girl.
Also, I know I can't turn anyone anything, so why would I obsess over it? And I have friends I am very much not attracted to, no matter their sex or gender. Thus, you're wrong again.
Finally, there is nothing inherently wrong with having an orgy.

Ok, I must be doing this gay thing seriously wrong. You see, several of my friends are also gay guys, and I have virtually zero desire to fuck or enter into a relationship with any of them.
And I say "virtually" here because in at least one case, my desire to be intimate with a gay-male friend is not simply zero, but actually very much negative, i.e I find the thought of it absolutely repulsive rather than merely unappealing. I am somewhat able to acknowledge on an intellectual level that I would normally find this guy physically attractive and my "type," but I am still utterly incapable of seriously thinking of him in that way, because we grew up together and are like brothers. Despite our close friendship, compatible sexual orientations, and similar tastes in men, there is no sexual or romantic element to our relationship, nor is there any awkward tension or desire for there to be. The thought of fucking or dating him feels so disgusting and wrong. But I seriously digress.
The point is, you're wrong and probably projecting onto others your own inability to interact with the opposite sex without objectifying them.

No I'm sorry, the foundation of a democracy is majority rule, but minority rights. Not the majority gets to rule with an absolute tyranny. See if you had received a proper education in American Government you would know that the Founding Fathers were desperately terrified of a democratic government that was run with a mob rule mentality. As such they structured the government so that it would always be able to protect the rights of the minority.
But of course I can see here that you're the kind of narrow-minded idiot who is terrified and paralyzed by the concept of freedom. You yearn to have someone hold dominion over you and tell you what do to, which is why religious fundamentalism is right for you, because liberty is the natural enemy of the priest. But because you also happen to be an idiot, you are also incapable of realizing that most people don't have a problem with freedom, and when left to their devices most people realize that we don't want to live in a society filled with rampant violence and theft.

Not because I have anything against gays or care who they have sex with, but simply because, as a heterosexual man, I find the thought of having sex with another man repulsive and disgusting. That's just the way my brain is wired. I'm never going to look at some guy's hairy butt and have the same reaction that I have to Scarlett Johansson's or Taylor Swift's butt, no matter what they do or say to me.
If you think heterosexual men can just be pressured into "switching", guess what: you're probably already gay yourself!
BTW, I've had many gay friends and not one has ever hit on me or tried to "turn me gay". They know a gay guy hitting on a guy they know is straight would be as much of a waste of time as a dork like you hitting on Kim Kardashian.

Want to prevent politicians from pandering to gays as a minority? There's a simple answer to that: stop discriminating against them.
You see, there are male gays, female gays, white gays, black gays, rich gays, poor gays, liberal gays, conservative gays, not to mention the bisexuals, pansexuals, omnisexuals, and asexuals who are nonetheless Homoromantic. People whom you consider "gay" come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and backgrounds. The only reason they're even considered a minority is because they're constantly being marginalized and discriminated against.
So, if you give them the right to marry who they wish, protect them from job, housing, and wage discrimination, and start (or continue, depending on where you're located) teaching in schools that homosexuality is completely natural, people will gradually accept them and stop considering them a different class of citizen. Remove the obstacles homosexuals have from the same civil liberties as the rest of us and they essentially will be "the rest of us".
Remove the civil distinctions forcing them to behave like a minority and you remove the minority. Simple as that. But I don't think that's what you were going for, is it?
