I kinda wonder if it's a Poe myself. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if it was just a Judeo-Christian fundamentalist wingnut (like, someone thought they converted to Judaism and then took it too far). But in Judaism, eternal hell is nonexistent and Satan is actually an angel working for God who tests us. Also, there are no demons to possess you in Judaism. That's something Christians came up with. (There's the dybbuk, but that's folklore that no one actually believes in nowadays.)
