Quote# 86797
These new commandments must be obeyed, and those who flout them will receive the most severe and unyielding punishments, including censure, excommunication, (say, from graduate counseling programs), and fines in the forms of legal fees to the secular imams at the ACLU.
Here, then, are the Ten Commandments of secular Sharia:
1. “Government, not Yahweh, is God.” Secular fundamentalists want us to look to government for everything we we [sic] were once taught to look for from God. Government is all knowing, all powerful, all wise, all caring. You know, all the things God used to be.
2. “You shall have no gods, period.” The goal of secular fundamentalists is the extermination of any and all mentions of God and Christ in the public arena. The only exceptions to the “no god” rule will be for Gaia and Allah. Gaia is to be worshiped, and any blasphemy against her, by plundering her for such things as the fuel on which the world runs, will be met with the severest punishment and condemnation.
3. “You shall not take the name of the homosexual agenda or Islam in vain.” If you do, we will land on you like a falling safe. Profanity, blasphemy, vulgarity, obscenity, pornography, all are fine. Criticize homosexual conduct, on the other hand, and we will cause the wrath of our god to descend upon you as a consuming fire. You will be silenced, marginalized and treated as a leper. We secularists have freedom of speech but you cretinous conservatives do not. If you have a problem with sexually deviant behavior, you are by definition a homophobic hatemonger and we don’t have to listen to you.
4. “Observe Halloween, Labor Day and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day as holy days. Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving, on the other hand, must be wiped off school calendars as if they never existed.”
5. “Honor your father and mother - by which we mean liberal politicians, since they have turned government into your mommy and your daddy.” No husband, no problem: government will be the head of your home. No father, no problem: government will be your provider and raise your children for you.
6. “You shall not murder - unless it’s a defenseless baby in the womb.”
7. “You shall not commit adultery - unless it’s with another man’s wife. Fornication and sodomy without repercussions and penalty are okay too. And we’re working on polygamy and pedophilia.” Anyone who disagrees, and says anything remotely critical of such behaviors, will be subject to the wrath of the holy and righteous prophets of secular Sharia in the out-of-the-mainstream media, who will call down fire and brimstone on those who dare to challenge the sexual orthodoxy of leftist libertines.
8. “You shall not steal - unless it’s to plunder from the producers what they have earned to give to the non-producers what they have not earned.” Anyone who complains about this involuntary transfer of wealth will be judged by the secular mullahs as evil, greedy capitalists and silenced. Right after they have been ripped off.
9. “You shall not bear false witness - unless it is to tell blatant lies about the Constitution, American history, the economy, unemployment figures and drilling for oil.” As long as you are lying to advance the power and reach of government, or get a leftist politician reelected, it’s okay. Secularists have their own version of taqqiya, just like the Muslims do.
10. “You shall not covet anything - as long as it belongs to people who are poorer than you. If they have more money than you, they are evil oppressors who must be plundered of their ill-gotten wealth by our government overlords so it can be redistributed to the lazy, shiftless and irresponsible.”

1. There is no need for God if you don't want a God. Government is there to provide services and keep the peace, not to rule you.
2. No one -- NO ONE -- is infallible. Government, properly managed, at least makes it possible for us to use the best of our ideas for the benefit of all.
3. If a rational, sane person can give informed consent to it, it's usually not a bad thing. (As for Islam... fix your tinfoil, Bryan.)
4. Thanksgiving may have been a Christian holiday at its beginning, but nearly everyone living in the United States (and quite a few people with cultural connections thereof) celebrates it regardless of faith or not. As for Christmas and Easter, there are other holidays worthy of celebration. Get over yourself.
5. Translation: silly women, you can't lead your family!
6. Oy vey...
7. I still fail to see how they don't understand consent...
8. Fuck it, I give up.

"To plunder from the producers what they have earned to give to the non-producers what they have not earned". Often when I read sentences like these, I think, yeah, sounds about right. You can read similar sentences in old Communist books.
Then I realize that they're not talking about the bosses stealing from the workers. They actually mean that the workers are stealing from the bosses, the exact opposite of the real situation.
How could anything be clearer? The right has two main tactics: 1, Take the truth and simply state the exact opposite. 2, To cover and deflect attention from what you are doing, accuse your opponents of doing it.
No-one should be fooled by this.

The other thing that strikes me about this is the false dichotomy offered: On one side, conservatism and small government, on the other, liberals and big government.
What, dare I ask, of the anti-government left? Where do they fit?
Because the position of the right-winger, is ultimately that he is keen on the following things: Authoritarianism, rules, the church, the headship of the father in the home, divine supervision and regulation of sexuality and morals, and the power of wealth. In other words, government.
It is ONLY the left libertarian (using the word NOT in its American sense) that is in fact "anti-government" in the truest sense.

One last point: Isn't it psychologically fascinating that, because this kind of person is so steeped in Christianity, they literally can't conceive of a way of life or thought without dogma?
The thinking seems to be: We have rules, and a holy book, and prophets. We worship something.
Therefore, they must have rules, and holy books, and prophets, and they must worship something.
They don't seem to be able to conceive the idea that someone might actually be intellectually free.

Bryan Fischer--the drinking game! Every time he links diametically opposed concepts, take a drink; every time he imparts murderous or oppressive intent on innocent groups and ignores his own, take a drink.
And so on...

I'd completely forgotten that the early Christians in Rome celebrated Thanksgiving.
It must have been very hard for them to find turkeys to cook, what with turkeys being native to North America....

4. “Observe Halloween, Labor Day and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day as holy days. Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving, on the other hand, must be wiped off school calendars as if they never existed.”
You whine about being forced to observe Halloween, the Christian-hijacked, Celtic, holiday of Samhain. You then lament the fact that Christmas and Easter are being "wiped off the calendar", both of which are also, Christian-hijacked, Celtic, holidays(Yule and Ostara if you are wondering).
I hope you see the menhir or irony plummeting towards your head because of this...

Yes, I guess the secular "sharia" has it's own ten commandments. Not the biased jargon you posted, but actual, freedom promoting 'Ten Commandments'. But did you know, they just recently (well, over 200 years ago) pulled a Jesus, and now there's only one commandment the proponents of secular "Sharia" want you to obey. Take a look:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Such radical nonsense! Don't they know we are a Christian nation, meant to be a Christian theocracy!
