Yes, because midsummer race riots are a regular thing. As opposed to late fall or early spring race riots, which are regularly called on account of rain. Winter race riots are just right out because the weather is too cold and icky.

I am beginning to worry in case something like this really does happen. The right wing seems intent on sweeping away all they disapprove of... blacks, Jews, atheists, democrats, Muslims, homosexuals, liberals, and in fact anyone who isn't a gun-loving bible thumping redneck replublican. It's as if societal advancement is doomed to be on elastic forever... we can only advance so far, before some ultra-conservative nutters bring us flying back to their version of normality with force.
