Things like that have happened in the past. Are you referring to the Tulsa Race Riots or what happened in Rosewood? Or current riots like the London Riots?
Either way, neither whites nor blacks go on random race riots....even the mostly-white London Riots weren't race riots. The last thing close to a race riot in the US was the 1992 LA Riots, which was actually a multiracial riot contrary to racist memory (though it was based on an incident of unpunished racism among the LAPD). I love how racists think black people have race riots several times a year when the last arguable one was 20 years ago.

Same thing happened when the Civil Rights Act was passed and slavery ended - white racists (not saying that all whites are racist, just talking about the racist ones) grabbed guns in the millions so they could go out and shoot a "nigger" to take out their frustration on, or they convinced themselves there would be mass black vengeance against white people. Which never happened.
Pray tell, what is an "African-style government"? Africa is a continent with several disparate different types of governments from country to country.
