3. Submission is for our protection

God did not devise submission to bring wives into bondage. No, it is for our blessing, protection and covering. God's ultimate plan is for His female creation to be under protection throughout their entire lives--under their father's protection as a single person and then under their husband's protection when they marry. We see an understanding of this in Numbers Chapter 30.

I just feel sorry for this woman. On another page, she talks about how she had a vision from God saying that she wasn't submissive enough. And that because of her lack of submission, her husband was slacking off in his duty to "lead" her.

It's really sickening, what some women are brainwashed into believing. I remember on another website, the webmaster had the nerve to say to a woman who had divorced her husband for abuse that she did the wrong thing, and that women should always return to their husbands after straightening things out with them...and that abuse is ALWAYS provoked.

So all that Abraham Lincoln and William Wilberforce (from here in Hull b^_^d ) did to eliminate Slavery was all for naught, eh? Emmeline Pankhurst might as well as not have bothered, re. the Womens Suffrage movement. So I guess you'll be forfeiting your right to vote, come next year - and in perpetuity - amirite? You and all your Stockholm Syndrome-d sisters-in-Christ?

Protection, against whom/what?
My husband needs me just as much as I need him.
My dad taught me to be independent and self-sufficient.
I make almost as much money as my husband, and I own a fourth of a summerhouse and quite a bit of money that I inherited from my grandfather.
Actually, it seems hubby needs me more than I need him...

Ughhhhhhhhh. There's no reason why a single adult female should have to ask her father's permission for anything. That is fucking disgusting.

It isn't about "protection"; it's about control. They just like to tell you lies so you'll believe it.

Wake up, Nancy.
