I Read About The Afterlife
Oh my god, please tell me you don't really think you're a second-class citizen. Please say you are being unnecessarily hyperbolic in your misguided outrage.
Please, please, please listen to this because i will not repeat myself.
HETEROSEXUAL CITIZENS ARE NOT SECOND-CLASS. YOU ARE NOT CURRENTLY LACKING ANY RIGHTS (UNLESS YOU ALSO HAPPEN TO BE A RACIAL/ETHNIC/GENDER MINORITY).

Exactly! They're playing the victim because they have no options left.
Just LOOK at the language. "Isolated and alone"? HETEROSEXUALS!?
"protecting civil rights"?
"suppressed and intimidated"?!
It makes you wonder if they're actually trying to steal homosexuality from gay people.

"to conduct high-quality qualitative and quantitative research documenting the extent of the harm"
Yet never do they present any of this, simply boycott what they're told to and treat everyone that doesn't toe their line like a social outcast beneath the level of "fellow human being"
For being such devote christians they all seem to lie a lot

I'm all for nipping the climate of fear being created in the bud. People who are scared are dangerous. People who are secure in themselves and open minded towards others are also spreading calmness around them.
How can you remove fear by exposing non-existent threats? Wouldn't toning down of groundless, "windmill" threats be a better way to go?
Those core civil rights also include to organize, to vote, to speak, to donate, and to write against marriage, ya know. It always goes both ways, and if you want to have a part, you'll have to fight for the other side's right to protest against you, or you're just a stupid hypocrite.
Wait, since when is the right to donate a human right?
I don't understand what the problem is. Those who want to get married should be able to do that (as long as they are both consenting and adults), those who just want to live together should be able to do that (again; consenting adults), and those who want to live separate should be able to do that. Where's the threat, where's the defamation?
Aren't married Christians that "by far vast majority" of the US that Dubya spoke about?
You. Have. Nothing. To. Fear!

So ridiculous. You aren't being persecuted or treated as a second-class citizen for not being allowed to persecute others and treat them as second-class citizens. Seriously, you're so drunk on your heterosexual privilege that you think being denied the right to oppress others is oppression. QQ moar, you bigoted ignoramus.

"Isolated and alone, we can be suppressed and intimidated. Together we are too many to be treated as second-class citizens."
Meanwhile, the for too long isolated and alone - to say nothing of second-class citizen - targets of your bigotry, can suppress and intimidate you too many. Four letters:
A. C. L. U.
Not being allowed to be bigoted against others you don't happen to like is not a civil right. Times change. Attitudes change. You must change.
Deal with it.

To try to push those damn filthy queers back into the closet and keep them there. To make sure that nobody is having sex in any manner which we deem perverted. To keep claiming that homosexuality is the greatest danger to marriage while ignoring divorce rates among our own. To keep women in the kitchen where they belong. To try to install a 1950's white-male-Christian-dominated society.

Gallagher is one of the perennial Rethuglican crazies who goes from hate group to hate group, today anti-gay, yesterday anti-choice, tomorrow who knows? She has intelligence which is the functional equivalent of a box of rocks. Why anybody listens to her whines is beyond me.

Look. You live in a society that is thoroughly, top-to-bottom, filled with heterosexual privilege and homophobia. If you were LGBT in this society, you would definitely be a second-class citizen. Unless this is your desperate attempt to hide in your dark little closet and not be noticed, your sexual orientation does NOT make you a second-class citizen. Nobody is taking away your right to hate speech, just your right to persecute people for being different. GROW UP.
