"Together we are too many to be treated as second-class citizens."
We don't think you're second-class citizens. We just think you have fifth-rate brains.

Sounds like a support group where they can cry together because they're being oppressed by being prevented from oppressing others.
Suck it up, bigots. You've lost and you know it. Get your heads out of your arses and join the 21st century.

"...to nip the climate of fear being created in the bud..."
Excuse me, but the only climate of fear being created is by you and your despicable organization. You're the ones lying to the masses about homosexuality, telling straight people that their marriages will be diminished in value if same-sex marriage were legal, and how same-sex marriage will harm children.
"...to conduct high-quality qualitative and quantitative research documenting the extent of the harm..."
Yeah, and who the fuck cares about how anti-gay policies harm gay people and their families, right?
"...to develop legislative and community proposal to protect Americans right to engage in the core civil rights..."
What about the rights of gay people to form and protect their own families which you are despicably trying to eradicate? So you think you have the right to tell others how to live their lives and legislatively make it more difficult for gay people and their families to garner the same fucking type of protection that straight families take for granted, all because you disapprove of their family structures?
I never thought I could despise anybody as fiercely as I do this woman. I hope your entire organization rots and everybody therein is exposed to the entire public as the rights-destroying bigots that they are.
9/25/2011 12:56:56 PM
I wanted to do a fixed version of this text but realised that you can read this as being pro-gay marriage without changing the words!
9/25/2011 1:16:02 PM
These people have the strongest urge to project that I've ever SEEN.
Gah! The mirror! So blinding!
Why don't you do everyone a favor and shut the FUCK up and stop playing the victim.
9/25/2011 1:20:27 PM
to expose for fair-minded Americans on both sides of the debate the threats being made
Wow - that's one sneakily worded sentence. Until you really think about it, it looks pretty fair and impartial - after all, it flat out seems to say it applies to people on both sides. But then you realise that "the threats being made" refers specifically to the earlier sentence about "those who have been threatened for standing for marriage," i.e. their side only! What has actually been said here is "We want to expose to both sides the threats that we allege have been made against our side."
In other words, this statement of goals technically leaves them free to continue to make any threats they want towards anyone else.
9/25/2011 1:20:36 PM
I think homosexuals can also say the last line you use. Though you and your ilk treat them as second class citizens or worse
9/25/2011 1:22:39 PM
I'm creating an alliance for the abolition of run-on sentences.
9/25/2011 2:09:56 PM
Nobody's buying the victim shtick anymore, honey. Be honest once in your life and say "I hate gay people and want them removed from the face of the earth". At least then you'll be truthful.
9/25/2011 2:22:56 PM
People different than you being given the same rights as you is not being treated like a second class citizen. Gah! I can never get over the fact that I share a country with people this stupid.

<<The goal of the Marriage Anti-Defamation Alliance is to create a supportive community for those who have been threatened for standing for marriage,>>
i.e. Bigots who have been exposed a such
<<to nip the climate of fear being created in the bud,>>
You know what the best defense against fear is? Education! Try it some time, you'll be amazed what it can accomplish.
<<to expose for fair-minded Americans on both sides of the debate the threats being made,>>
So the people who bomb abortion clinics and murder doctors don't represent the whole pro-life movement, but people who might get a carried away in the defense of marriage equality and speak foolishly prove the whole marriage equality movement is dangerous, right?
<<to conduct high-quality qualitative and quantitative research documenting the extent of the harm,>>
And systematically ignore any results that don't agree with our forgone conclusions.
<<to develop legislative and community proposal to protect Americans right to engage in the core civil rights: to organize, to vote, to speak, to donate, and to write for marriage.>>
These points are already protected by the 1st amendment. Either this goal is painfully redundant, or you are making a pitiful attempt to suggest that your rights are being denied. Which are you, a hopeless screw-up or a manipulative liar?
<<Isolated and alone, we can be suppressed and intimidated. Together we are too many to be treated as second-class citizens.>>
I guess that answers my question: manipulative liar it is.

> threatened for standing for marriage
You're (1) not being threatened for (2) standing up for marriage.
(1): You feel threatened because the reality doesn't agree with your misguided, set-in-stone views. This doesn't mean you are threatened by someone. You're threatened by something.
(2): Everyone can see that "Marriage" is just your smokescreen. You're not interested in protecting marriage - if you were genuinely concerned about that, there'd be hell of a lot to be fixed. Yet, you do nothing. This has been pointed out to you, multiple times. Don't whine if people start criticising you for all of the other failures in your rhetoric.
[Edit] Oh yeah, one more thing I noticed:
> to develop legislative and community proposal to protect Americans right to engage in the core civil rights
...by depriving some other Americans from engaging in the core civil rights.
I've seen many examples of the religious right not quite getting the idea of free speech. Prove your intention is to establish a honest, reasonable, two-sided dialogue, or I won't believe you're truly after basic human rights.
9/25/2011 2:31:48 PM
You don't like being treated like second class citizen yet that is exactly what you have been doing to gays for decades.
9/25/2011 3:29:16 PM
WAAAH We can't persecute teh gheyz anymore! WAAAH!
9/25/2011 4:14:04 PM
Aww. They think they're second-class citizens. That's so cute!
9/25/2011 4:42:26 PM
It will never cease to amaze me that to these assholes "you won't let me deny someone else their rights" = "you're denying me my rights."
I mean, I've really tried to see things from their perspective but I just can't get my head that far up my ass.
9/25/2011 4:43:55 PM
"to conduct high-quality qualitative and quantitative research documenting the extent of the harm"
Those are some preetttyyy big words for someone with your level of intellect Ms. (and I say Ms. because we haven't seen the ring or you husband) Gallagher - if only there was some way of actually doing that.... oh right! That level of research involves icky science, and facts! Things you're less familiar with than being able to see your vag without a mirror. More junk science from the piece of junk.
9/25/2011 5:00:50 PM
You and your ilk are not even close of being treated as second-class citizens. Go ask your local ex-cons and you will see what being a second class citizen really means.

What'd I Do
No, the goal of your organization is to play the martyr card in order to manipulate the ignorant masses to believe that what you stand for is somehow less contemptible.
Fortunately, there are a few of us that can see through your fucktwattery, and respond in kind.
9/25/2011 6:18:06 PM
Marriage Anti-Defamation Alliance?
You mean like MAD Alliance?
You're MAD all right, as in loony.
9/25/2011 7:05:13 PM
for those who have been threatened for standing for marriage
All you have to do is to shut the fuck up and let others live in peace and those "threats" will disolve into thin air.
Keep up your bitching about everybody else's private lives and, yes, you'll probably make yourself a target for criticism.
9/25/2011 7:08:23 PM
Looking at this again, I'm forced to conclude that the "victim card" is the only defense these people have LEFT, and they're forced to use it whether it makes them gargantuan hypocrites or not.
What else can they do? Attack gays for being gays and that's, like, an abomination? Not if they want to preserve their image. Claim gays want to somehow "steal" marriage from straight people? That'll only work on people that already think that gays get married by stealing the marriage licenses of hetero couples in the night. Attack from a legal standpoint? They don't have any leg to stand on! Character assassination of individual gays? Snide, juvenile, and good luck trying to pin anything on an increasingly diverse group of people.
They're just buying time as they circle the drain, and taking the "victim" route is a clear sign that they're not long for this world.
Good riddance, fuckers!
9/25/2011 7:41:34 PM
Yes, because Gallagher is being denied:
Social Security benefits
Lump-Sum death benefits
Estate tax benefits
Life estate trusts
Veteran and millitary benefits
Federal employment benefits
Health insurance for spouse
Joint income tax returns
Oh no, you're totally being treated like second class citizens.
9/25/2011 7:47:15 PM
The goal of the Marriage Anti-Defamation Alliance is to create a revenue stream from gullible and reactionary, small minded idiots thus ensuring that Maggie Gallagher secures an unearned income and gains a couple of rungs on the political ladder. It intends to achieve this by scaremongering, manipulation and fraud.
Isolated and alone, we can be intensly annoying but ineffectual. Together, with your money, we can treat others as second class citizens.
