Well, we're not all going to flock to one of your hate temples for an officiation now, are we?
And this shit about thrusting bedrooms into the public square is bullshit. It's more like your team peeking through people's windows.

"Natural marriage"? What the hell is so natural about a marriage?
There is very little redefinition going on. Marriage is still a contract between two adults who promise to take care of each other as long as they live.
Marriage has been redefined many times before. You're not allowed to marry a non-adult anymore, and you're only allowed one wife at a time nowadays. You can't rape some girl and then pay off her father and marry her anymore either.
What people do in their bedrooms is no-one else's business, as long as no-one is hurt. You don't have to have sex just because you're married, and you don't have to wait until you're married to have sex. Not all gay men have anal sex, and quite a few heterosexual couples do have anal sex.
Homosexuals have always been a part of our culture, stupid. The fact that they are now accepted as the normal human beings that they are will not change anything, (except their quality of life).

Surely if allowing marriage between homosexuals means they are "thrusting (oo-eer) their bedrooms into the public square." Then surely Heterosexual marriage is doing the samething?

"accused gays and lesbians of “thrust[ing] their bedrooms into the public square.” Perkins went on to say that opponents of gay rights should be proud that they “have compassion and love for those who are bound up in that destructive lifestyle of homosexuality”"
I can TASTE the irony there.

Well, obviously this Defense of Marriage Act outlawed divorce.
Didn't it?
Waddya mean, no?

Look, we’re not in people’s bedrooms.
Then why the need for sodomy laws?

Gays will have sex, married or not. Just like straight people. They also often want to get married for reasons unrelated to sex, like straight people. So, how is it that gays are thrusting (heheh) their bedroom in the public but straigt people aren't? And aren't you people, in effect, sicking your noses in their bedrooms in the first place?

Might I suggest you stop "thrusting" your heterosexual bedroom antics in public as well. So no more kissing in public places. Don't even think about holding hands either. I don't want to see that shit. It's bad when at least 3 times a week I catch a hetero couple fucking in the back of a car in the darkest corners of any property I happen to be on, while on the clock. I never catch a homo couple doing that.

And the KKK had compassion and love for those who had unfortunate darkness of the skin.

That sure is a lot of thrusting you're thinking about.

You're right, you're in your own closet.

If traditional morality means fundie morality, then take it and shove it up your ass, because fundies tend to be quite immoral. And natural marriage? Remember that you guys have a holy book that has many cases of marriage between one man and many women, yet I never see fundies arguing for legalization of polygamy.

Again with the thrusting. You forgot the "forcing it down our throats".
The support for same sex marriage by Americans is basically irrelevant. The inalienable right to the pursuit of happiness is not up for a vote.

Oh come out already! When you homophobes talk about gays thrusting and shoving things down your throats, you couldn't be more closeted if you were a winter coat in July.

Traditional morality means selling your 12-year-old daughter into marriage with a 40-year-old man, who has 3 other wives already. Fuck traditional morality.
Don't like gay marriage? Don't get one.

Over 50% of Americans support "redefinition", bitch!
In the meantime, Congress should take the focus off of DOMA and REACH A FREAKING DEBT AGREEMENT!

When are these right-wingers going to realize that marriage has already been redefined just in this past generation? It's no longer the "man in charge of a subservient wife" thing their parents idealized. The pressure to conform to gender roles have been removed so that marriage is now considered a "partnership of equals". And if men and women are equals, then it no longer matters what combination you put them in.
I think that's what really has them so terrified about both gay marriage and abortion. The concept of patriarchal gender roles (and the control of women) finally being put in its grave once and for all.
