This has been such a comfort to me when the young die. We do not always understand that in God's mercy He may take home a child or a young person to preserve them from the evil to come. I believe He did this to my best friend in 7th grade. He died. He was a good kid but his brothers became gay. I believe God preserved my friend from ever having to choose his "sexuality". He never became of age to have to. He is in heaven because he was a believer.

Forgive me if I don't quite know how the US grade system works, but aren't kids like 12, 13 by this point? Pretty sure at that age you've at least got the basic grips on your sexuality.

That's funny, a lot of my friends confided in me that they thought they may be bi/gay at that age. I somewhat had a grasp of what that meant, as a 12 year old though.

Okay, there's something I've never gotten with this line of thinking...

Why is it that God only takes away SOME children to preserve their innocence and purity? Why not take and save them all? Why doesn't God just not let people have children and thus save ALL innocent souls from becoming tainted with sin?
