I've mentiones somewhere else that there are a number of scientists who have religious beliefs, but they don't try to shoehorn the Bible into being an actual fact.
They just don't get it, do they? Fundies seem to think that a golden age will happen if they defeat Darwin. Ironically, if proof were to be had, there would be no need for faith, and God would vanish in a puff of logic.
