Quote# 81393
Father we call forth godly leaders at every single level of government. We call them forth right now to run for the city councils and county commissions, to run for office and be a public servant in the state house, to be mayors, to be governors, to be congressmen, to be senators. Even in the Executive Branch we call forth godly leaders. And we decree that they will come forth.
And Father I ask you now to release a spirit of repentance, a conviction over this country for the choices we've made, a conviction over the choices that have been made across the globe. That this conviction is will be come to our knees, that we will humble ourselves, that you will hear from Heaven, that you will forgive our sins and you'll heal our land.
Father, I call forth resources. As we saw in the state of Maine just a few days ago that Maine became the thirty-first state - 31 out of 31 - to protect marriage between one man and one woman. And we just call forth the other twenty-nice, we just call forth all fifty sates, we call forth the other countries who will stand for God's institution. Not on our watch.
And Father we call forth in this time, in this generation, the end of the slaughter of the innocent. Through the legislation, through the ballot initiatives, through the judicial branch, we decree that judicial tyranny is a thing of the past, that is must stop, it was called, it is checked, it can no longer rule this nation.
And on our watch Father, in this generation we cry that the criminalization of Christianity will not take place, that we will see freedom to proclaim your truth and your gospel in this land and across the seas. Father, that we will be again an exporter of the gospel and a proclaimer of the truth.
And Father this lie of the so-called separation of church and state, that isn't in our Constitution but that of the former Soviet Union. We break down the deception, the lie, that has kept the church in the pew. They will come out, they will be a voice in government and they will no longer remain silent.
We decree that God with godly leaders will reign and rule. That they will no longer fear men, but they will fear God. And they will proclaim the gospel in the highest office in this land. We call forth Damascus road experiences to to those who occupy and if they will not turn, we call forth for their replacement.
We shut the door that no man can open and we open the doors that no men can close in the name above all names, the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

For the 1000th time: Separation of church and state is a must. A theocracy is a very bad idea. This is beyond doubt, shown countless times from examples from history. Religion is and must stay everybodys private matter.
And I wonder why Cindy Jacobs is referencing numerous times a rather old-fashioned programming language? ("I call forth")? ;-)

You'd rather replace it with your own theocratic tyranny, wouldn't you?

You people have got to be the most paranoid group of individuals I've ever encountered. Nobody is seriously advocating criminalizing Christianity. As long as the courts consistently uphold our First Amendment rights, you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

And here we have a little piece of verbal onanism. It pretty much contains your standard FSTDT stuff, including persecution complexii and whining about how the churches aren't receiving constant blowjobs from DC.

> Father we call forth godly leaders at every single level of government.
Why? Why go through all this business of appealing through people? Since you're essentially begging things to happen whether people want it or not, can't an all-powerful deity Just Fix Things? Why would an all-powerful deity just create a pretence that these people would fuck up the society by their own free will?
> That they will no longer fear men, but they will fear God.
The problem with theocracy is that sooner or later, the theocrats realise that they have nothing to fear from God... and thus they can do anything they damn well want, because they didn't fear the men to begin with. Are you absolutely sure you can trust these people?

31+29=60. And your thought processes are as good as your spelling and your knowledge of geography.

Okay, fine. Then the next president shall be of the Aztec religion and will sacrifice people to Huitzilopochtli. And since the Christians were so nice to the Aztecs when they first met the Christians have the privilege of being the primary source. Moreover he's going to take all churches and convert them into sacrificial altars.
What's that? You want the freedom to be a Christian and not be killed for it and not have your churches forcefully converted into something you don't want them to be? Sorry, but separation of church and state is a lie. Oh well.

"And Father this lie of the so-called separation of church and state, that isn't in our Constitution...."
Check the Constitution, you won't find the phrase "Freedom of religion" in there either. We do have separation of church and state and freedom of religion because of what is in our Constitution, but neither of those phrases are found in the Constitution.
Don't be claiming one is wrong because you can't find it in the Constitution while claiming the other is right when it can't be found there either. Your hypocrisy is showing.

Translation: All this freedom is bad for Christianity. Lord, might you rob my fellows of their free will that they may be forced by mortal law to share my views and revere your divinity with extreme prejudice as I do?

Thirty-one plus twenty-nine equals... sixty. Basic math fail.

So you want a theocracy, huh? How could you betray your country like that?

Arrgh, why don't the Christbots understand that the establishment clause protects them? What if we did have a theocracy, and the state God wasn't theirs? Would that help them see why separation of church and state is a good thing?
Probably not. They love persecution too much.

Too late, Cin. In our recent local elections, Labour gave the Liberal Democrats* such a kicking here in Hull, the LibDems only have one Council seat. Thus, coupled with our three Labour MPs, my part of the UK is (once again) the Peoples Republic of Hull.
PROTIP: Nick Clegg, leader of the LibDems, Deputy Prime Minister of the coalition Lib-Con government (and the only one keeping Conservative David Cameron as PM in No. 10) is an Atheist.
*- Try and reconcile the notion of 'Liberals' being beaten by Labour: a centre-left party. PROTIP: Go to Australia and call a Liberal Democrat there a 'Pinko Commie'. He/she would kick your fucking teeth in so far, you'd be taking your food anally. >:D

Who's trying to make Christianity illegal? You don't know the Constitution very well, do you?

No, I guess you don't. You think that the government is trying to make Christianity illegal, and you can't see why separation of church & state is a good thing?
