Actually there ARE a large number of groups in opposition to minority groups (Mostly hate groups) Lobbying for rights for one group doesn't deny them from others, and most lawsuits are against organizations rather than your hypothetical person and are to prevent unfair treatment of those minority groups.

The actual number of gay people in humanity is generally thought to be 8-10%. The much lower numbers fundies love to parrot aren't very useful because they're based on self-description and people are notoriously prone to rationalising, confusing or just outright lying about both their sexual behaviour and how they label themselves (which is how the phrase "men who have sex with men" is sometimes used instead of "gay").
