Frankly, I wish more media attention was being given to some of this rhetoric being spouted out by the far right. If it's allowed to reach a certain point without being addressed it will be too late.
I agree with your entire post but this is the part I wanted to emphasize because I think it's so important. People say that there's no such thing as bad publicity and that we shouldn't be giving nutters a platform to spew their garbage on but my counter to that is to just look at the Westborough Baptist Church. they get tons of media coverage and they are almost universally disliked so I believe, like you said, we need to air the extreme right's dirty laundry so that people can see what they're all about and reject them before they get too much of a foothold.

I have to disagree with that last sentence. Even speaking as an English/British/European person, I can't see a military response against the USA that you suggest, under almost any circumstances.
