Hit submit too soon, last time.

The thread was about the Vatican's new rules about gay priests. There was (at first) some controversy about it because the priests are supposed to be celibate anyway, so the resistance of temptation should be laudable, and gay priests should be allowed. Then this asshat SpaceAngel jumps in with the two posts that I submitted. Things went downhill from there ...

As it turned out, a bisexual Wiccan jumped into the fray, actually DEFENDING the Catholics.

It's been an interesting thread.

This conflict between 'Christians' (radical fundies) and the rest sounds like a big one.
Should we atheists join with the Catholics, Muslims, Wiccans and minorities to make sure of the outcome, or just keep it a religion only thing?
