Quote# 79516

Why is Glenn Beck so worried about the future of Egypt? That is an easy question to answer. It has everything to do with one's world view.

The Bible has foretold world events and they are centered around the Middle East. Much of it has already come to pass. He is just trying to get folks' attention to what was prophesied by the Old Testament prophets and by the New Testament book of the Revelation.

If you have a world view similar to mine, you understand it. If not, you think it is folly and he is a nut case.

For those of you who pride yourselves as "critical thinkers", perhaps you should engage in just that concerning the Biblical World View.

A biblical world view is as useful as a photograph of oxygen to a drowning man.

Glenn Beck is a tool and an "entertainer" who doesn't actually believe a tenth of what he says.

Pull your head out of your ass, rube.

EDIT: Um, ass.

Biblical World View?

No such animal!

Where in the babble is there any mention of the Americas, China and the Far East, Australasia etc., etc?

I did! And it resulted in dropping the bible into the nearest garbage can!

And that is the same way Glenn Crack and the Teacrackers need to go - down the garbage can - idiots!

What is even more stupid, is the amount of people in the US who are totally imbeciles and believe every word coming out of these clowns mouths!

Just wait until Americans raise up like the Egyptians to overthrow the corporatistic control over USA. Oh wait! That will never happen - American Idol is on and some obese couples will be dancing in a phone booth!

As the bible states the generation of Jesus would not pass till all this had come to be..., and as NONE of the books of the 'New Testament' were written before TWO generations AFTER the alleged 'generation of Jesus', then critical thinking would suggest that any 'prophet' who predicted PAST events AND GOT THEM WRONG was less than reliable...

I consider myself to be a critical thinker. I deduced a long time ago that most of the Bible is bullshit. What you consider to be "fulfilled prophecy" concerning the Middle East is simply your confirmation bias at play.
The situation in the Middle East is considerably more complicated than that but you retards insist in looking at it in black and white.

"Much of it has already come to pass."

Name one specific prediction that can be unambiguously demonstrated to have come true

Egypt is not in the middle east. Its in Africa. #

Also as predictions go that one is kind of retarded. I mean if I predict at some point in time stuff will happen in Sri Lanka then when stuff happens say "see!" that's not prophecy, that's just saying shit.

Which is exactly what we do. We look at the biblical world view, and find no evidence to support that particular world view. Where do you think the word "criticism" comes from?

Of course the Bible was centered on the Middle East. Silly punters thought that was the whole freakin' world.

Uh huh... Glenn Beck is a nut case, no matter what your "world view" is. Or he just knows how to get gullible people to buy into the fear-mongering, hateful BS he spews out. Probably both.

And a "Biblical World View" is always going to be wrong since it's based in fiction.

If your Bible is so accurate with it's "predictions", why didn't you idiots say anything about the protests in Egypt BEFORE they happened? It's always easy to claim something is a prophecy after the fact, but the true test is being specific and being right.

About Beck, he's an idiot who exploits people's fear for money. Why do you think he keeps peddling his gold and 'food storage' scams?

Riiiiiight. Please, if you'd be so kind, point out where the bible mentions the events currently unfolding in Egypt. If it does indeed describe these events with any substantial level of detail I'd be very interested in it. Otherwise, and as much as I surmise right now, it's just another lame misinterpretation of an ambiguous quotation. Please, oh please, prove me wrong!

"Much of it has already come to pass."

Specific examples please. They must be very detailed and elaborate examples stright from the buy-bull, not vague things such as, "wars and rumors of wars." What is that you say? You can't give me any such examples?

And, Glen Beck is a nut case.So are you dirty girl.

Believe it or not, many of us are actually quite familiar with the biblical world view. It's a mistake to think everyone who disagrees with you has never read the Bible.

We've done the "critical thinking". We've concluded that the OT is a fairy tale put together by a tribe of bronze age Arabs, and Revelation is the incomprehensible work of a wacko. You don't know what Revelation means. Neither does anyone else. Everyone just picks and chooses what they want it to mean.

It is folly and he is a nut case.

Your prophecies failed to predict the Caliphate, the Crusades, the British Mandate, and the Fisrst and Second World Wars. Critical thinking therefore tells you that they do not foretell the future at all.

We've applied critical think to a "biblical world view" It's why we know it's wrong.
