No because we got something you guys lack on all fronds EVIDENCE
1/2/2011 7:29:06 AM
We have evidence of dodo birds, we don't have evidence of unicorns, why do I have to explain this? Are you really that imbecilic?
1/2/2011 7:30:44 AM
What is this thing called 'evidence' you people keep hatping on about? There's no such thing in answersingenesis, and we have peer-reviewed publications to prove it.
1/2/2011 7:40:55 AM
I've been to museums that had the stuffed remains of dodo birds. They also has the fossils of other animals like dinosaurs and prehistoric mammals like mammoths.
I never did see any fossilized or stuffed unicorns.
This is a classic case of accepting what the Bible says even though it is an obvious fabrication. This is why we laugh at creationists and call them idiots.

Skeletal/fossil remains of the Dodo bird, the Roc and other UNKNOWN creatures have been found. Many.
We didn't have stories about them from the ancient world, when they were first found some idiots tried to tie them to legends of gigantic birds (like the Thunderbird) but these things couldn't glide let alone fly.

Origin of unicorns- Hebrew tourists or slaves too stupid to realize the Babylonian representations of bulls in strict profile were not one-horned beasts. Image search on Ishtar Gates, Babylon. See also the sirrush, origin of dragon myths.

It's because they're MIRACLES
1/2/2011 8:09:27 AM
Accounting for that psychotic mindset and all, i still don't see how a unicorn means the bible is true and your opinion of a god is valid.
1/2/2011 8:12:46 AM
Is this more believing things are real because they can be imagined? Then we should believe in elves, gnomes, leprechauns, sprites, pixies, bigfoot, and the Loch Ness Monster?
And this goes far more toward proving the Invisible Pink Unicorn is real rather than Yahweh.
1/2/2011 8:37:07 AM
No, because we have many eyewitness accounts and bones from dodo birds.
Where are the eyewitness accounts and the bones from unicorns?
1/2/2011 8:41:09 AM
Oh, I'm seeing evidence of at least one dodo bird right now.
1/2/2011 8:41:24 AM
The child in me wants to agree with this. My mind, however, knows that these people are full of shit.
1/2/2011 8:46:41 AM
As much as I get like a squealing little girl at the thought of unicorns, I'm gonna have to say no.
1/2/2011 8:48:26 AM
And we tend to have documented proof including sketchings of such...whereas unicorns are...well...nonexistant
1/2/2011 8:59:11 AM
Fossils. Ever seen unicorn fossils, Liz? No? Then what's the problem?
1/2/2011 9:12:57 AM
Canadiest: Wait...remains of a RUKH?! Mind elaborating?
1/2/2011 9:13:05 AM
Please stop. I think you should go back to school and reteach you some biology 101.
1/2/2011 9:28:38 AM
Worst part is, this fundie's statement actually almost sounds convincing, until you realize there seems to be no physical evidence.
1/2/2011 9:31:39 AM
Jezebel's Evil Sister
I thought the standard fundie answer is that the original text referred to a real animal, such as an antelope or a breed of cattle. Geez, Elizabeth, get with the program!
1/2/2011 9:34:55 AM
I've seen a lot of stupid quotes but this one actually hurt my fucking brain.
1/2/2011 9:36:14 AM
Percy Q. Shunn
I found a fossil of one of teh debil's minnions.
1/2/2011 9:44:38 AM
Only robot unicorns exist. All the others are Nazi Liberal Zionist Lies(TM).
1/2/2011 9:46:36 AM
The absence of a unicorn in the modern world should not cause us to doubt its past existence.
That's correct. We should doubt its past existence based on the complete lack of evidence for said existence.
(Think of the dodo bird. It does not exist today, but we do not doubt that it existed in the past.).
We don't doubt its existence because we have evidence that it existed.
If you've got some evidence that unicorns exist (or have existed), we'll talk. Until then...get out of the pool, kid.
1/2/2011 9:59:12 AM
Surely this is Poe. Please let this be Poe.
It... it isn't, is it? :(
1/2/2011 10:03:25 AM
Yeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaah, but we have evidence that Dodo's did exist. We have no such evidence for unicorns.
