(iPhone app allows people to instantly report suspicious persons to authorities)
This will in fact lead to underground Bible study groups and worship services getting raided by the "Hate Police". Nothing new under the sun. Get ready for the camps people.

Dear Fundies,

Does your suspicion of this new iphone application mean that we have your word that you won't use it to report the Muslim family down the road for the suspicious activity of not going to church, or the deviant activities of the atheist down the road of doesn't have the decency to believe in your strange little fantasies about eternal damnation?

Yours

You fuckers are idiots. Christians make up 72% of the American population. Oh wait, that's right, their not "True Christians" TM.

If this actually happened, you could spot a fundy at twenty paces from the constant fundy boners they'd sport from all the persecution.

Fortunately for us, we live in the real world.

What's the name of that App? KGB?

And only RR can be that retarded - the ones who will be reported is your average normal (as far as you can call a mythologist normal) muslims who have done nothing wrong other then being a muslim.

Nobody is going to report the Johnson family on their way to the billion dollar crystal church along with 30,000 other morons on Sundays...

The answer is simple, although it might not occur to an idiot: avoid using an iPhone.

BTW has the bioble taken to the sewerss now? Strange. I thought it was there a long time ago with its lurid interest in people's sex lives.

Why? Are you hating people? Did Jesus tell you to hate people? Better get back underground and do some more studying.

You know, this guy WarGamer is a complete turnip but because someone else mentioned it I checked the app out. The people who make it, Citizen Concepts say one of their goals is to:

"Provide instruction and increase consistency in actions while decreasing variance in human behavior to mitigate risk and error".

Can't say I like how that sounds at all. The Raptard is right to be concerned about this, for totally the wrong reason.

Yeah, that'll happen right after professional sports and McDonald's get driven underground and persecuted.

@#1235921

That IS pretty freaky. It sounds just like the plot of some as-of-yet-unreleased Orwellian novel. Or rather, a modern author's attempt at one anyway.

"Wargamer"?

RR plays war games?

Wonder if they have a Clan.

@#1235921
That sounds rather creepy as well...

Whenever I read stuff like this, I'm struck by the weird insistence that every little thing is a sign of impending persecution. Not that anyone actively desires persecution, but when people talk like this, it seems like they crave the attention of martyrdom or something.

That pic of the fundy gathering (is that the Crystal Cathedral?) reminds me of the scene in the A L I E N S movie where they discover all the millions of alien eggs.

Excuse me whilst I go check outside my bedroom window for pods...brb

Wow. Just...wow. I almost don't even know what to comment about this one. How about "sounds like we need a phone app so we can instantly report paranoid delusional idiots to mental health facilities?"
Lol !

Dear Wharrgarbl WarGamer:

We already know all about your underground Bible activities. You can talk among yourselves all you want. Your false sense of superiority is safe as long as you don't spew your bile on those that don't conform to your warped and self-righteous beliefs.

Camps are your methods, not ours.

We merely throw your ass in jail for inciting or committing violence against those that refuse to conform to your control-freak lifestyle.

Be afraid, be very afraid. Oh wait... actually, you should just stop. Everybody would feel better.

123591: Just the URL—patriotapps—looks fishy. How does conformity manage to be regarded as utterly necessary to patriotism?

Although the wording DOES look like someone's attempt at making light of jingoism, along with some of the scrolling dates (founded on 7/4/10, this application launched on 9/11/10...No way these are accidents). Still, that's not much evidence for a feint. (I suppose some of you won't be surprised to hear they're based in Florida) Their other products are a data-miner for reconstructing crisis events, and a pair of applications meant to dynamically instruct you on what to do in an emergency (one for schools, one for hospitals). Considering this is a private company, you get the feeling they're more than a little worry-driven.

Edit: Come to think of it, I think they mean variance whenever crises occur; they're thinking in terms of interdicting panic and its ilk, by making it easier to know what to do (exhibits A and B being the hospital and school emergency procedure guidance applications). Still potentially worrisome, but the anti-panic reasoning is still something to consider as possible.

And yet you can report those awful Muslims. I guess you don't totally hate it but your persecution complex just can't handle it. It has to do with suspicious activity. You know. Like filming or taking pictures of structures, buying items in bulk that can be used as bomb making materials, etc. You will still have your first amendment. And you won't be raided by hate police if you aren't going about hating others.

Another reason not to use an iPhone.

@carmen sandiego: I've tried searching for a list of states were reporting police brutality is illegal, but didn't really find anything. Can you give me some names? Because I'd like to avoid living in those states if possible.
