If America was founded on the principles of Kung-Fu, I'd abuse the fuck out of my magic Kung-Fu Grip.

You're right, "Christian Conservative" shouldn't be a dirty pair of words. It's idiots like you who make them so. I know several very conservative Christians who would rip your theology and piss-poor Bible knowledge to shreds.

Do us non-Christians get to vote in your theocratic future, DF?

So, Judaism is part of the Values That Made Us Great, but you don't want a Jew in office?
Um, fuck off.
12/14/2010 7:45:52 AM
All religions are equal, but Christianity is more equal than any other.
I call poe on this one.
12/14/2010 7:47:15 AM
"Izzie Principles"? Is that a British Crossdressing Comedian religion? THAT would be fun!
(Yeah, I know he's refering to 'Islam'...bear with me, here)

Ignoring the fact that there are other political philosophies in this country besides conservatism... check.
Saying that people who aren't Christians don't matter... check.
The most egregious case of doublethink and the mangling of words this side of George Orwell... check.
Ignoring the fact that the ACLU is not an anti-Christian organization, and in fact has defended Christians many times... check.
Amazing. All the worst and most extreme parts of the right-wing American "platform", all rolled into one quote! It's almost a pity that Latinos/Mexicans/illegal immigrants/"duh bran peeple" are never mentioned...

I just want to know who came up with the "more equal" meme. It is nearly as hilarious as it is infuriating.

Whats really scaring me: There might be the possibility that this Fundie is deadly serious when he quotes "more equal than any other". I remember discussions with other fundies, who also quoted similiar sentences from well-known cultural icons.
The most infamous incident I ever encountered was in a discussion where a weird fundie seriously proposed mandatory forced labor for everybody. To emphasize his point, he quoted the infinitely cynical and malicious sentence written on the gate to Auschwitz concentration camp: "Arbeit macht frei", translated: "Work will make (you) free".
I couldn't believe my ears. I checked with him whether he really meant what he said, and he really meant this serious. He didn't say it to provoke, he was completely and seriously convinced of his point.
Don't underestimate real fundies. They can be much weirder than one might believe in ones wildest dreams.

Free speech is free speech, fuck you and your imaginary friend both.

"All religions are equal, but Christianity is more equal than any other. Judaism is next more equal."
"Kung Fu beliefs."
Ohhhhhh Jesus, save me from your followers.
12/14/2010 9:24:07 AM
I'm also calling Poe on this one. A true Fundie would never use the word "fuck," even by mispelling it.
12/14/2010 9:25:31 AM
Absolutely a Poe.
Even then, no one should be allowed to murder the English language with phrases like, "next more equal."
12/14/2010 9:36:24 AM
I think you're a phuqqing quntt. Phess off.
12/14/2010 9:37:34 AM
That's very good spelling (except for phuqq?) for a mischievous four-year-old tot (the tantrum gives away the age). You might grow-up to be an engine driver, one day, or even ...gasp! ... the President. Are you in any way related to Edgar Allan?
12/14/2010 9:37:58 AM
@Quasarsphere: I disagree. I think he's typing this one-handed.
12/14/2010 9:42:33 AM
Country founded on Kung Fu beliefs = best country EVAR
12/14/2010 10:00:51 AM
"we were great when we didn't question Christianity or push the laws or customs to the very outermost limit"
Damn right. We need to return to the good old days, when there were signs at the edge of town reading "no niggers, jews or tramps after dark." Back then those non-Christians knew their place and were willing to remain second-class citizens quietly.
12/14/2010 10:11:39 AM
Okay, I'm no longer an agnostic atheist. I am now a Kung Fu-ist.
spouting nonsensical gibberish speaking in tongues when moved by our beliefs, we shall speak in badly dubbed English!
12/14/2010 10:12:03 AM
a poe with Admin access on that forum... that would be interesting...
12/14/2010 10:15:20 AM
DesertFox. Poe. Next.
12/14/2010 10:16:50 AM
I've noticed that many fundies like to claim that the US was founded on "Christian principles", but when asked to identify which specific, uniquely Christian principles were involved, they can't do so.
Why do you suppose that is, DesertFox?
Oh, and this stuff is pure comedy gold:
Free speech is free speech, but you don't get to use it to impugn Christ.
All religions are equal, but Christianity is more equal than any other. Judaism is next more equal. After that they're all the same.
Christianity's principles made this country great...not Jewish principles...Christianity and Judaism are the sources of our greatness
