On the HGTV show "House Hunters" it seems as if 1 in 5 couples looking for a house are homosexual.
Yesterday two men were looking for larger "family home" because they are ready to adopt children.
The hosts of the show mention it in such a matter-of-fact manner you have to remind yourself it's two guys, not a normal married couple.
When my beautiful cousin suddenly dumped her husband and "married" a woman in a lavish ceremony --happily attended by their parents, friends, family-- that did it for me. It was apparent our culture no longer viewed marriage as a sacred union to be respected.

I doubt it was "sudden"-maybe for you, since I can see why the family would be hesitant to tell you with your beliefs. Many people go for years in the closet out of fear.
And I've considerd the "sacred union" of marriage to be a joke since Britney Spears got married as "a joke that went to far." Just because my parents are still married after 30 years doesn't mean that all people are, or even should be.

So what bothers you the most, Barb? That your cousin did something you don't approve of, or that the rest of the family didn't disapprove and wave their Bibles right along with you and had the "audacity" to love, accept and be happy for her? I'll bet you're that relative that no one can stand and who ruins every family gathering with all of your ranting about gays, Jews, Democrats and whores but who keeps getting invited back because you're married to someone's brother or something.
