Once the nasty old scientists are banished then laboratories and educational insititions will be safe so the fundies can practice their own spells and incantations. Meanwhile scientists will just establish new institutes. Then your back to the status quo. Fundies raving against logic and reason, and scientists pulling them kicking and screaming into the 21rst century along with everbody else

The funny thing is that evolutionists WERE barred from laboratories and educational facilities, that'd mean we were living in some sort of theocracy, and odds are in a few hundred years that scientists (obviously living in the woods alone) with their primitive cauldrons would be the height of technology, what with it being a new dark age and all

Medical science has saved the lives of several people I care about deeply, as well as making my own existence much more comfortable. And a lot of that science was based on genetics, i.e., evolution.
