Quote# 7642
I never said that slavery should be used, but the slavery defined in the bible is not immoral or wrong. Slavery, when corrupted, as happend in early America leads to great unjustices, but that doesn't make slavery, as the bible defines it, wrong. Communism, in theory, is great.

slavery is corrupt. You can't really corrupt it anymore.
Also, where does that Communism all of sudden come from? What the hell are you talking about?

I'm a little confused on which parts of slavery you think are "not immoral or wrong." Forcing some one else to labor on your behalf without compensation? Degrading another human being to the status of property? Beating another human being for real or perceived acts of resistance? Which of those does not strike you as "immoral or wrong?"

No, the fact that it's slavery makes it wrong.

No. Humans are humans. Humans cannot have owners because they have a free will. Thus, any slave "owner" is technically a thief/kidnapper, since they do not actually own "their" slave. Slavery always, always has negative psychological effects on slaves, i.e. "you're less than human and don't deserve your own free will", etc.
Communism, in theory, is great. Slavery, on the other hand, is not.
