@ John
When do you expect Castro, Hugo Chavez, Ahmadinejad, Putin and Hu Jintao to join Obama in ruling the world?

Ok, huh? What the hell does that mean? Matthew 24 is THE end times conspiracy isn't it?

Matthew 24
Signs of the End of the Age

3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"

6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

9 "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.

30 "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.

33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34 I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

36 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

The REALLY scary part, is they consider this a GOOD thing. Go ahead, vote Republican.

In other words, it's a forum for conspiracy theories.

How in the blue blazes can they tell the difference? I mean, how far would have to go? Somewhere between alien reptile people and evil Jews? Or maybe between alien probing and Chutulu?

I just don't get the relevance of mentioning Matthew and Romans here?

The notion of a one world government is a conspiracy theory.

I've really never understood the hullabaloo about the One World Government? Sounds alright to me, massively more efficient and better at maintaining peace. And shit if we're ever going to do a good job being an Alien Empire we're going to have to unite at some point.

>>Matthew 24:44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. <<

Or in the King James Version that so many of the premillenial dispensationalists like:

"Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."

But that specifically says that they can't predict what they say that they are predicting...

Conspiracy theory is not what you think it means. By the way, neither the One World Order nor the rapture are remotely cited on those passages.

So, it's for conspiracy theories that are made by Alex Jones? I wonder what their opinion is about the Bildenberg group...

Though I understand that their thread is for conspiracy theories by its very nature, I'm still meh-ing this because they didn't make any claims about the "One World Government."

Oh, and I agree with what Orion said. These conspiracy theorists are making an essentially benign idea look sinister for no real reason.

Welcome to Conspiracy Club. The first rule of Conspiracy Club is that you do not talk about Conspiracy Club. The second rule of Conspiracy Club is that you DO NOT TALK about Conspiracy Club. Third rule of Conspiracy Club: If you are going to talk about Conspiracy Club, you must ONLY talk about Conspiracy Club.

Conspiracy threads will be deleted.

So then, the forum is empty?

@Alencon:

You forgot the most important verse in Matthew: 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Basically Jesus was predicting all sorts of fantastic things, then told the disciples that they would happen to them, not to some future generation a couple thousand years in the future. Of course those events didn't come to pass, so Jesus was either a false prophet (casting doubt on his role as the son of God), or the story was just completely false.

No, it's the emerging 9 worlds government the Bible is warning you about!
(Of course we don't count Pluto, but the Moon will certainly be counted as a world when the other planets are settled.)
