However, to asnwer the question:
People, naive, nasty or otherwise, don't 'believe' in evolution, they judge it to be true on the basis of evidence.
That evidence comes from mathematics, genetics, ecology, geology, medicine, chemistry, organic chemistry, anthropology, zoology, common experience with selective breeding both for particular varieies and for farming, biology, molecular biology, Paleobiology, embryology and physiology, among others.
Any one of these fields is in principle capable of providing evidence that disproves evolution. The fact that none of them have done so is widely judged to be because the theory is true.
Only religious nutters these days doubt the truth of evolution. Sadly, they lie to you.
