Except that many people have plans for their remains and in fact, it is against their wishes that their bodies be violated.
Also, a dead person's remains would be in the care of their survivors, who would most likely object on the basic premise of honoring their dead.

Well, more than that. We don't choose what turns us on (same goes for sexual preferences). I mean, why would anyone choose to fap to scat, watersports, or necrophilia? As far as homosexuality goes, I'm homosexual, but I didn't wake up a heterosexual and say "hmm I could fancy some genitalia of my opposite gender" one day. It's wired into our psyches at birth. We can surpress these, but we can't completely erase them.
People don't choose to be turned on by their same sex, and people don't choose to be turned on by corpses. Now bite me.

Last I checked, consent applied to necrophilia too. People tend to have strong opinions about how they prefer their bodies to be treated after they die... as in strong enough to inspire laws. When they're dead, they can't raise objections, so most people seem to think that "no, unless specifically authorised" is a reasonable policy.
And necrophilia might not even be the biggest concern. In the grand ladder of things, it's just under the concern about shrunken heads. ("Don't hack my head off and shrink it, dammit. I don't want to end up dangling from some redneck trucker's rear view mirror." You know, strong personal opinions on realistic, pressing threats like that.)

I agree in theory. In theory, dead bodies should just be dead bodies, so play with 'em how you like, no harm no foul. In practice, dead bodies are treated as if they are the property of the bereaved in some respects, and are also effectively symbols of the person when they were alive, meaning that mistreatment of their body is a sign of disrespect for that person and thus a cause for stress and anguish in the bereaved.
In other words: find a corpse that either consent to being fucked of its own accord, or whose family is A-okay with handing over to a necrophiliac, and you might have a comparison. Otherwise, try again. I hear the other homophobes cheering "bestiality" in the distance, maybe you should try that one!
