Quote# 74538

I don't think it is a coincidence that the most destructive hurricane to ever hit the U.S. first formed on the SAME DAY the U.S. forced the final Israeli out of the Gaza strip. God said He would bless them that bless Israel and curse him that curseth Israel and God keeps His promises.

Then why are there still Israelis in the Gaza strip?

Is it also a coincidence that Chief Justice William Rehnquist died the following day, and his death was also overshadowed by Katrina?

To be fair, that is the kind of misplaced, unjust overkill-type punishment the god of the old testament would go for. Your idiocy has some degree of internal consistency, I suppose.

I don't think it is a coincidence that destructive hurricanes never hit Iowa, a state that allows same-sex marriage. God is cursing gulf coast states like Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas for their hatred of and intolerance toward gays and lesbians.

See what I did there?

Your seriously saying that god's response to a bunch of suits in Washington and Israel is to drop a storm on some southern people who didn't even know it happened.

Think about this.

Oh who am I kidding, you never will.

Tell you what: When Israel is ready to stop playing the 'God's Chosen People' card everytime someone criticizes their blatant disregard for the rights of Palestinians, I'll be more inclined to support diplomacy with them. They need to stop playing that card, and start living up to the words on it. If they truly are God's Chosen People, then goddamnit, they need to start acting it.
Besides, you'd think these people would be all for cutting off diplomatic ties with Israel, and leaving them to their enemies. Isn't that country's darkest hour what's really needed to kick their whole Rapture/Tribulation masturbation fantasy off?

It seems the US did a very bad job, then, as the Israelis are still on the Gaza strip, and in all the other occupied territories of Palestine.

Hurricane Katrina hit the Southern states, where Christianity has its strongest hold. How do you explain away that?

Jesus promised to come back during the lives of his disciples. Did he keep that promise?

That was careless. What did you do to cause all the other hurricanes that hit the United States, every year since records begain, including long before Israel even existed, and undoubtibly long long before there even was a United States?

Gosh, the shit that must happen to nations that aren't Isreal's closest ally!

I don't think it is a coincidence that the most destructive hurricane to ever hit the U.S. first formed on the SAME DAY as my ex-husband refused to pay his child support. God said He would bless me and curse him that fucks with me and God keeps His promises.

God obviously loves me more than all those people hurt and killed by Katrina.

Why is is that you like to present your god as an a..hole, always punishing people who have nothing to with such incidents?

Okay so you don't think it's a coincidence. Do you happen to think it's ironic that said hurricane hit Louisiana which has the highest Church attendance in the country?

The US didn't force Israel to withdraw from Gaza, Israel chose to unilaterally pull out. Which, somehow got the rest of the world ticked off at Isreal.

Lot of good that did, since it allowed Hamas to start firing rockets again...

Yes, because the innocent civilians of New Orleans are the ones who were directly involved in that situation. Why does your god always have such horrifically bad aim?
