I’m sorry but this is totally wrong and should be illegal - those poor young impressionable girls.

I am into fishing, shooting, and boating and as you would expect my son is too, nothing wrong with that I hear you say, well?

Imaging two little girls with no daddy, imagine the abuse at school about having two mums, we all know how nasty children can be.

Imaging these two little girls seeing mummy and mummy kissing and cuddling in front of them, sick I know, but imaging how these two little girls will be affected by these unnatural acts.

These girls are bound to become conditioned to lesbianism, now what their mummy’s get up to is up to them but to implant the lesbian seed in their tiny minds is tantamount to child abuse in my opinion.

Our nation is based on decent heterosexual family values but lesbianism is a life style choice best not carried out in the first place but if so then behind closed doors. Vulnerable children must not be exposed to these practices.

So, your objections are:

1) that people will bully the kids. Firstly, i'm sure that faced with the alternative, which is not existing at all, it's a small price to pay. Secondly, thats not a problem caused by lesbians, but a problem caused by people, like you, who have a problem with lesbians. So its not lesbians that can solve that issue.

2) kids will be exposed to lesbianisim and will consider it 'normal'. This is not an argument in itself as it rests on the premise that there is something wrong with lesbians in the first place. As you don't actually provide any reason why this should be the case, your argument fails (it can keep you company in the "I fail" room).

Closing point - you are a fucking racist scum and bold enough about it to be in the NF. If anyone is 'not normal' and does not have a lifestyle based on 'decent hetrosexual family values' (i.e. the values of the majority), its you.

As a member of a marginalised social and political minority, I'd have thought you would be considerably more reticent about criticising people for being different.

Also, kids will find ANY excuse to pick on someone: the kid being adopted, overweight, having glasses, wearing out of style clothes, having a stutter, being ginger, having a funny accent, being short, being too tall, their father being unemployed, being poor, I could keep going all day, in fact, it would be a much shorter list to list the things that kids DON'T make fun of others for. That's a part of growing up and everyone (except those that are home schooled) has to deal with being picked on by other kids at some point. But you develop a thick skin and/or a sense of humor and you learn to live with the fact that not everyone is going to accept you for who you are. The thing we should definitely NOT do is make it even harder on the victim by making the thing that they're being made fun of for illegal. And seriously, if your argument for making same-sex marriage illegal is "kids will make fun of their children" then we might as well be fair and make everything I listed illegal too.

According to studies, the children of homosexuals aren't any more likely to be homosexual themselves than the children of heterosexuals.

The only way in which they're likely to be "affected by these unnatural acts"? They're less likely to be homophobic - rather like children raised by a non-homophobic opposite-sex couple, like me, my sister, or my niece and nephew.

This doesn't seem like a bad thing to me. For one, it would completely put an end to that abuse at school for having two mothers which Tom seems so worried about. Children don't just decide to tease other children for their same-sex parents in a vacuum, you know; they first have to get the idea that same-sex parenting is bad from somewhere. Guess where that might be...?

You must be really, really stupid, Tom Linden! If the action of the parents implant the seed in the children, there would be almost no homosexuals people in the world. And yet, they are at a (fairly) constant 10 % of the population. It's almost as if it's natural for humans, as we need that 10% to stave off over-population...

If lesbianism is so bad, how come about 50% of all pornos are about lesbians having sex in front of males? (Percentage figure picked at random, have not watched that many pornos, just judging from hearsay.)

I'm a heterosexual, born by heterosexual parents, with heterosexual siblings, heterosexual cousins, uncles and aunts. I don't think anyone in my family is homosexual. And still I was bullied through most of my first 9 years of school.

And my Dad is a rancher. I want nothing to do with that lifestyle whatsoever. It's almost like...dare I say it...KIDS DEVELOP THEIR OWN PERSONALITY!

Wonder where these kids pick it up, Tom. It's unthinkable that teaching these kids that picking on another kid because of who is parents are is wrong, isn't it, Tom? Better to keep those kids mean so that you don't have to admit your homophobia, right, Tom?

Oh, poor DOS, now we know where the sheer stupidity comes from. Can you even begin to wonder at the horrendous childhood he must have had, or is still having? What an absolute mess his parents must be or have been. Now I begin to understand. The poor daft sledge never had a chance, and freak shows are not much of an option these days. Still, it is slightly horrific to imagine two people as repulsive as that engaged in the sort of sexual endeavour that resulted in DOS. I'm guessing that the mental aberrations are more of a handicap than the physical ones. Though I suppose they both combine to make the inevitability of a lack of sexual partners for DOS.

I hear the "we all know how nasty children can be" all the time and it's the dumbest excuse I've ever heard.

Kids will pick on other kids for anything this is nothing different. If kids can be so nasty then maybe you should stop raising your kids to be hurtful little brats that attack anything that's different (SURPRISE! Like YOU do! I wonder where they get it from). You act like this is so horrible but I'd bet you'd cheer on the bullies in this case.

And imagine this, most kids raised by gay parents aren't gay themselves, because sexual orientation isn't that black and white.

We can't go around making things illegal because YOU think they're icky.
