That same Babble contains a commandment against murder. It doesn't say "take the law into your own hands and murder whomever you believe deserves to be murdered.
One of the essential concepts of Western Civilaztion is that we can expect NOT TO BE MURDERED, especially for actions which are absolutely legal.

Enh, kind of have to disagree with the folks who argue like there's some magical transition which embues a fetus with sentience and humanity when it's born.
I kind of suspect that an 8th month fetus, as it kicks and explores the womb, is about as aware and sentient as a 10 minute old infant.
So while I'm sure a small blob of non-differentiated cells isn't going to feel pain or be aware when it's terminated, a late-term abortion is a far different matter.
