Quote# 74095

(snipped from a larger article for brevity)

[...]Guardian Council chief Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati told worshipers during his Friday sermon that to stay silent on the issue of improper hijab, or veil, amounts to a mortal sin. He likened women whose hair peaks out from under their scarves to hardened criminals.

"Drug traffickers are hanged, terrorists are executed and robbers are punished for their crimes, but when it comes to the law of God, which is above human rights, [some individuals] stay put and speak about cultural programs," Jannati said, referring to Ahmadinejad.

"Shall we let badly-veiled women be free in the society corrupt our youth?" he added.

Now, having a hair fetish myself, I know how it feels to be aroused by beautiful locks, but this is just ridiculous.

yes everyone knows it's the girl's fault for getting raped. if she had been in the kitchen like she is meant to, she couldn't have corrupted those poor boys with her exposed sultry strands of hair.

The ayatollah seems to have forgotten that there is nothing in the Qur'an demanding the veiling of women. Only that both men and women dress modestly. So essentially, what he is trying to enforce is cultural, not religious.

@His4Live: "I mean the laws of the Bible"

Like the prohibition on eating shellfish? Or on mixing fabrics?

"douchebag"

You pray to your god with that mouth?

"Jesus came to set us free"

No, he came to set an example by healing the sick, helping the poor and protecting criminals from a lynch mob. Only death cultists believe that he "died for menkind's sins" et.al.

Sure, we all know that your problem with drugs and terrorism have nothing to do with poverty and inequality. It's just because women show her hair(you know guys, God make us bald but we're smarter)

Enjoy the devil, cunt. Listen, black Christians like me choose to follow God's commands because we are free to serve, not because we have to. We are not under hte law but under grace. However, buy God's grace we thchoose to follow his commands and he enables in his grace to become holy and follow those commands. you just dont get it and i feel sorry for you, but whageevt, I'll pray for you I can't let you bring me down, ok?
