Quote# 7357

The fact that one-celled creatures act exactly as if they were thinking conforms to the notion that neurological brains are not required for the process we have dubbed 'thinking.' You jealously hole up in that last bastion of human arrogance, insisting that you and only you have abstract reasoning powers because of your lousy 4 pound glob of gray matter when all along our brainless God and His angels thought more thoughts than mankind can hope to remember.

It's not just your God that's brainless.

Actually this makes some sense... science has shown that it takes more brqin power to tell a lie then it does to report the truth, because you hold two different versions of the reality in your head... So it must take God a lot of brain power to keep the facts of his creation and the bullshit he tells his believers straight.

"neurological brains are not required for the process we have dubbed 'thinking.'"

Well, yours isn't. [/Spartan Laconic Wit]

The quote by philosopher Rene Descartes: 'Cogito ergo sum' ('I think, therefore I am') exists for a reason.

And Reason is exactly the problem for you & your ilk, Al, m'boy.

Me, I like thinking. Certainly for myself.

Brainless God. Love it.

That would explain the poor design of the human body.

So why aren't one-celled creatures posting on your forum?

Perhaps creatures with one brain cell are. They function well enough to tithe, and keep the fantasies going, and that's their main usefulness.

Brainless God or Godless Brain. They both work for me.
