Following that logic, we should have an earthquake every minute here in Sweden. As far as I know I have never felt an earthquake, and I'm over 40 years old.
We do have earthquakes, but most are so small you need special equipment to notice them.
Strangely; secular, gender-neutral-marriage-law-having, women-friendly Sweden is mystically devoid of natural disasters. No whirlwinds or hurricanes, no dangerous earthquakes, no volcanoes, no killing droughts or floods. The animal that kills the most humans is probably the moose, when people crash their car into one.
It seems God does not bother that much with Sweden...
...or Sweden is far from fault lines and hurricane corridors, far from desert areas and man-eating animals.
