Facing facts, however hard or inconvenient, and responding in a reasoned and rational manner will make everyone's lives better; wishing on a star, a mysterious unifying field of life energy or a magical invisible sky giant will not.
Whether you believe there is more to the universe than what is known to science or not, don't look to it for answers. Because it has none.

Look, we understand that this little god and heaven idea of yours must be real nice to believe. Nothing to worry about, no need to fear your inevitable mortality, the afterlife is guaranteed. But those of us who can find happiness without crumbling into a hopeless dependence on the never never land promises of a fantasy have actual problems to worry about.
Out here in the real world nothing is guaranteed. The only thing I care about with you is your insistence on getting in the way of our actual solutions to actual problems.
