Where to begin on this load of FAIL on understanding American government, politics, and the voting system.
I thought Libertarians were for freedom for people to their own order and not enforcing order on others.
Voting does work, but it is a very involving process if you are really searching for change to your liking.
Hate to break it to you fschmidt, but there are men out there that would disagree with you on the idea that intellegent men should only vote. You've seen them before, they're the ones that can get women easily.

You're the reason why voting should not just be compulsory (as it is in Australia, for example), but made a condition of citizenship. Don't want to vote? Fine, that's your right. But then you forfeit the right to live in a democratic country if you refuse to participate in it's democratic process. Thus you're deported to, say, Iran or Saudi Arabia: Theocracies.
Good people fought & died to ensure you could vote. Getting off your arse and doing so on polling day is the best memorial they could ever have; thus their sacrifice wasn't in vain. Every time you don't, it's like pissing on the Cenotaph in London or any grave at Arlington National Cemetery.
Ever since I turned 18, I've always voted. When Apartheid was finally eliminated in South Africa, post-Nelson Mandela's release, people queued for hours just to vote for the first time; that country's first election had at least a 99% turnout.
There's no excuse for not voting, fshit.
