Quote# 69906

While I believe in lifeforms "adapting" to their environment, that is not the same thing as evolution. Evolution is changing from one species into another entirely different species. Some Christians speak of "micro evolution", but that to me is just compromising the truth. Evolution is a LIE of the devil. Nothing evolves. It might adapt or bring a new species to life by two compatible but slightly different species mating. I've seen that before, where a cat mated with a rabbit. The offspring looked really strange, with attributes of both parents--the head and back legs of the rabbit and the body of the cat. Who would have thought that cats and rabbits were compatible?

You idiot, lifeforms adapting to their environment is evolution! Evolution doesn't mean a species changes into another.

And there's no such thing as a cabbit.

"It might adapt or bring a new species to life..."

So... you believe that both of these can happen, but don't believe in evolution...

Let me guess. Your definition of evolution involves one individual changing from one species to another, and not populations changing over time.
Protip: Pokémon is NOT reality.

Someone needs to get his information about Evolution from sources other than Pokemon.

Nicely done. Here's another video that shows a possible cabbit conception in action. (grins)

Doesn't it, though?

Liar, cats and rabbits are by no means genetically compatible.
If a liar speaks about who's lying I guess he doesn't have much credibility left, eh?

And after your second sentence, I realized that you knew nothing about evolution.

Biology fail! (Although, cats and rabbits can mate. They just can't produce offspring, being too dissimilar in their biology. You're as likely to get a cat/rabbit hybrid as you are to get a human/dog hybrid.)

My god you are an idiots; Cabbits are an urban legend. You've been watching too many cutsie animes.

I never knew that Pokémon evolution was scientifically accurate. From what I know of Pokémon, the species is that of the mother, while getting skills from the father. I must go mate with a cat. That way I can have a cat with the ability to speak English and play Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Go forth, and proclaim to the world that I have created a Meowth that is a gamer!

There's a little thing called a chromosome. Unless the chromosomes hook up, you can't reproduce. Rabbits and cats don't have the same number, so your example does two things.
1) Doesn't exist.
2) Defines EVOLUTION you idiot. Bring enough kind-of-like animals together and you'll get something completely different from the original.

If "Evolution is a LIE of the debil", then what kind of a lie is the cat-rabbit mating lie? I mean, just how stupid can you be?

"cutsie animes."

I resemble that remark! I explode my knees at you sirrah, you fop, mountebank and ne'er-do-well! There's nothing 'cutesie' about "Tenchi Muyo"! You impugn my honour, collection and otaku-ism! I therefore challenge you to a dual: Tits at dawn!

X3 ;)

...okay, so there's Sasami and aforementioned Cabbit Ryo-Ohki. But at least Mihoshi is hot. But what Ryoko can do certainly can't be described as 'cutesie' - especially when riled!

[/slightly hurt at the grandaddy of 'harem anime', "Tenchi Muyo", being referred to as 'cutsie']

That, dear, is what evolution is. I don't know how you don't see that you've just completely contradicted yourself. I think, as is the problem in 9 out of 10 cases, that you simply don't understand what the theory of evolution is. And no, a cat and a rabbit cannot produce offspring at all. They are not the same genus. I have no clue wtf you were looking at.

Evolution =! species y turning into species z

When do they learn? Adapting to the environment means, that species must develop traits through generations in order to survive in their changing habitat. If the habitat is mainly stable, species can remain almost unchanged, since their is no need to evolve any special traits. I'd call that evolution in a nutshell.

But, if you think that evolution means something like cat + rabbit = cabbit. Go right ahead. You can't get much dumber than that.

And please, show me that cabbit please? There MUST be at least one pic of it. Meaning a pic, which didn't come out of the Photoshop-factory.

"Who would have thought that cats and rabbits were compatible?"

Who indeed...:

(^ Mimika & Koshka, from the 3-part anime OVA "Usagi-chan De Cue")

Who knows, in the future humans & rabbits/cats could become genetically compatible. Then the possibilities, as demonstrated above, would be endless eh, Jon-Marc?

(I know the Yuri possibilities - as demonstrated above - would be endless! :9 X3 )

PROTIP: 2011 is the Year of the Rabbit after all, so...!
