Once upon a time, I felt like I understood why fundamentalists opposed evolution. They are clearly unable to accept deviation from their scriptures, and a completely natural process to explain the diversity of life on earth was the last facet of those scriptures to be toppled by honest inquiry.
But then they go making up bullshit that contradicts their own scriptures and pushing that to fight the lie, and I honestly don't know what to think anymore.
What kind of mind looks at the world and says, "Well, I've got to choose amongst the traditions of the people who raised me and the value system entangled with that story, or the origin story of some other culture, or the prevailing scientific theory. Nah, I'll go with door number four: total bullshit."

- "adaptation" as you put it IS part of evolution
- Evolution means to change. nothing more, nothing less
- Some christians are morons. "Microevolution" is not a term used by scientists.
- Cats and rabbits cannot mate. Crockaducks do not exist either.
- And if you did some research on what a "cabbit" really is you would see that it is a cat or a rabbit that has had traits specifically selected for (kind of an artificial evolution if you will) to make it look like the other animal. It is mostly a genetic defect in MANX cats. {soapbox, I hope this dose not catch on. The genetic issues are going to be horrendous. UGH}
