I have to hand it to them, that it is true that women can't easily come to harm when they're chained to the kitchen counter, while tending to seven babies.
12/30/2009 6:28:40 PM
All the women who were murdered for being "witches" would beg to differ with your opinion...
12/30/2009 6:40:03 PM
Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. If i hear this idiotic statement again, i will suplex you and use your spine as a club to beat your other parts to submission.
12/30/2009 6:47:38 PM
Have fundies ever read their bible beyond the parts that help them out with their "special" beliefs?
12/30/2009 7:07:13 PM
As long as they don't show their ankles, or let their hormones show, or try to be equals in a relationship. But after that, they're not women. They're obviously demons.
12/30/2009 7:09:45 PM
Dude, the parts about stoning them were not the good kind of stoned.

12/30/2009 7:34:34 PM
As long as she's not some slut who got pregnant out of wedlock and needs an abortion, or a lesbian, or a minority, or a pagan or anything.

It's official. These people live in the Bizzaro World, where Atheism is a religion, but Christianity is not. Also, Kent Hovind is the foremost expert in all things science, and Jack Chick is Protestant Pope.
12/30/2009 8:49:04 PM
This may be my progressive, but decidedly male brain thinking here, but isn't it a little bit patriarchal to think that women need protection in the first place?
12/30/2009 9:16:12 PM
Except for the thousands of wise women who the church called witches and burned at the stake or drowned.
The hundreds of thousands of indigenous women slaughtered while Christianity spread Gods word.
The Millions of women killed in holy wars in the last 2000 years

And let us not forget the Magdalene Asylums....where women were forced into virtual slave labor to make money for the church, usually doing laundry. And this lasted until 1996!!!!
Oh, I am sorry, by placing them in Magdalene Asylums against their will, you were protecting them from themselves!!! It all makes sense now.

Unless it's in the hands of fundamentalists, in which case women are second-class citizens whose only roles in life are to serve men, give birth, and shut the hell up.

This has GOT to be proof of interplanary travel, or communication. This person's stuck in a world that stopped progressing a long time ago, but their outmoded babble has crossed the boundaries of time and space and ended up here.

Have you even opened the cover of your bible? Ever heard the name Eve? Cast out of paradise, forced to suffer pain of child-birth, made subservient to all men... any of this ring a bell? It's the first damn book for fuck sake.
