Well, now if a god had a hand in getting shrub into office, he is definately an angry and vengeful god. I assume by the term 'a loving god' you mean one that will fuck us over with a shit-headed, quarter-wit who talks and stammers like half of the inbreds on these fundy forumns then I agree.

Wow - so God now talks to his people through a burnt out Bush instead of a burning one.

So instead of PREVENTING 9/11
God decided to get an incompetent moron elected to deal with the aftermath?!?
God is dumber than a wet doorknob!

Even if Bush weren't the biggest doofus on the planet this would still be like thanking me for coming to your house, wiping dog shit all over your walls and then handing you a brand new state of the art mop and bucket.
Oh and yeah I have to agree with everyone, Julian is crowned king of the Internet.

from what I can remember reading, Bush made a total hash of things on 11 Sept. He proved himself (NOT) to be a true leader by going to ground rather than rallying the country. Then the whole Iraq fiasco that is still costing the blood of ur children. If goddidit, then he he can't be benevolent

So god knew that 9/11 was going to happen, did fuckall to prevent it, gave America a president who could do fuckall about it, and then allowed that president's successor to finally bring the main culprit down nearly ten years after the event.
Oh yes, very omnipotent and loving god you've got there, sunshine.

If God knew 9/11 was going to happen, why couldn't he lend a hand and stop it. I mean, if he loves America so much.

"Because we have a loving God who ultimately decided that election, and gave us a godly leader. He knew what our country would be facing after Sept. 11th, and gave us a leader who would be strong and fight for what's right."
So why wasn't McCain and Romney elected, then...?! [/hyper-smartarse]
