"Those with NO moral and values will find humor in filth, porn and the likes."
Porn has nothing to do with morality so long as the person or persons involved consent. That is, if you're watching adults fucking and they're getting paid and you're enjoying it, so what?
"It's amazing how people are all for this garbage and subscribe to it in their homes but block it from the kiddies, makes me wonder how your children will grow up."
My guess is that, forgoing all other factors, they'll grow up fine.
"Shelter them when they're young and then let them do, see, listen to as they so wish too."
Now you understand!
"This country is going down hill faster than fast."
Can you express that in MPH?
"No one wants the Pledge of Allegiance said in schools anymore (I Do)."
There's nothing wrong with saying the Pledge in schools. The only tiny problem is this one discriminatory phrase in it that was added in the 50s in an effort to give the U.S.S.R. the middle finger. Also, lay off the hyperbole, Kerry.
"No one wants 'In God We Trust' on our U.S. Currency (I DO)."
Well I would prefer it wasn't on there because of our nation's secular heritage, I'm probably in the minority on this subject.
"No one is allowed to say, 'Merry Christmas' (I DO)."
Oh for fuck's sake, it depends on the store you work at. Various stores instruct employees to wish people "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays" or whatever, and it's not a big deal. Besides, since there are (gasp) other holidays during the winter season besides Christmas and not being inclusive may hurt businesses. Personally when I'm working, I change the message depending on the customer (if I specifically know their religious affiliation).
"We're all for gay marriages (I"M NOT) and so much more."
Actually a slight majority of Americans oppose legalizing gay marriage, though I'm part of a growing group of Americans who supports the idea. Granted, it's my side that's eventually going to come out on top but, again, watch the hyperbole.
"When are folks going to wake up and take this country back to the way it use to be."
Yeah, I can picture it now: segregated schools and workplaces; religious tests for public servants; witch hunts for Communist sympathizers; women receiving back-alley abortions and dying from the resulting complications--but hey, it's your fantasy.
"Decent and proud to me an American."
So decent and proud that proper logic, grammar and spelling don't matter in the slightest.
