Nebraska Man was never in the textbooks, since it was exposed as an error (NOT a HOAX) withing a year of it's discovery in the 1920's.
I don't see what the Periodic Table has to do with anything. All the others are old earth or evolution things, but WTF?
"Nebraska Man" (Hesperopithecus) was ONE overeager scientist making an honest mistake. It was corrected very quickly.
Also: Evolution is true (but not a religion). Get over it.

Fundie rule of thumb for science: If you can't comprehend it and god didn't say it, it must be filthy lies. And the periodic table is pretty incomprehensible at first glance, which is probably all this person gave it.

This has to be a poe. No way does anyone think the periodic table of elements is a fraud, not even creationists. Both the Bob Jones and the Pensacola Christian "textbooks" used at the fundie school I went to both prominently featured the periodic table and what it does without any mention of it being "wrong".
