No, evolution is a theory of biology, not linguistics. To be fair though, languages do change over time to adapt to contemporary needs, so in that sense they evolve.

I don't know. Ask a linguist, psychologist or neurologist. Probably all three, at the very least.

Yes, they do. It has nothing to do with biological evolution though as I'm sure someone of your intellectual magnitude has no doubt deduced.

Just because something is said to "evolve" doesn't mean the theory of evolution can be applied.

By the way, did god write the bible in early modern english and then just place "seemingly" older texts in "seemingly" older languages? Or were those older texts originally written in eraly modern english and then later translated into a languaged that seemed to be older by the scientific conspiracy?

Actually, words do evolve over time. Both meanings and pronunciations change over time, due to a combination of need and the inherent laziness of speech.

Some easy examples:

Any word that's spelled differently from its actual pronunciation. At one time, it was pronounced like it was spelled but the spoken word changes faster than the written. The day for the middle of the week is no longer pronounced wed - nes -day, but instead it's pronounced more like "wendsday" or "wensday". That's the laziness of the tongue. Vowels shift even more quickly.

As far as words evolving in their meaning, I'd like to take a word from English and from German, both of which share a common proto-Germanic root. When it originated, it meant 'animal.' It contains three phonemes: a palato-dental stop, followed by a high vowel, followed by a glide. As English and German evolved separately, English took the voiced stop and German took the voiceless. Today, the English word is a specific kind of animal, while the German word is more generic 'animal'. The words, as we know them today in English and German, are 'deer' and 'Tier', respectively.

Kind of...
language developed from rather simple linguistic systems to more complex ones
with different language systems being developed at different parts of the world
and sometimes even a newer linguistic system evolving out of an older one, while in a different part of the world the older lingustic system still is being used (an example is the japanese written language, which evolved out of the chinese language... it retains lots of characteristics of the chinese language (by the Kanji that are used in japanese) but still is different from chinese, as Kanji combined with japanese Hiragana and Katakana use a different grammatic system).

So, nope, lingistics don´t disprove evolution ;)
