Dunno 'bout how it's gonna be over there, but over here in the Netherlands, you can actually, you know, OPT OUT of healthcare for religious reasons...

What the fuck.
Since when did socialised healthcare (and lets not forget Americans do have socialised policing, fire services, roads...) lead to mandatory euthanasia and abortions? Lets look at a country with a national health service - say, the UK - and see if choice is removed, if one is forced to have medical treatment, or if you're ever denied treatment because you can't pay for it.
Lets see. You still have a choice of where to go, whether to seek medical help or not, or to - with health insurance - go private. The only thing you mention that we don't get a choice on is euthanasia because its illegal. So your first point seems spurious.
Jehova's Witnesses are renowned for not wanting, say, blood transfusions, and if they tell medical professionals they don't want one, they won't get one. And they'll die because they're stupid. But the point is that they're not being forced to do something against their religious beliefs. So that's insane point number two for you.
And, of course, under the auspices of the NHS, everyone in the country gets access to the same level of care, no matter how rich or poor they are. We get emergency treatment immediately and without questions, we get really cheap medicine because its largely subsidised by the government. To me that's better than dying horribly because my HMO won't release funds for my treatment. Call me old fashioned like that.
tl:dr; you're an idiot, like everyone else on RR. I hope America does get national healthcare, it'll be the best thing for it in decades.

What are you, Amish? I'm sure that there will be reasonable limits for people of certain faiths which forbid their members the use of modern medical care.
Other than that... well, you're a nut job. Someone needs to go Barney Frank on your ass... so to speak.

Not wanting healthcare is a religious freedom? Forced abortions and suicides? You people are dead already.

Of course. They expect the Anti-Christ to appear as a great peace-maker after all (although I'm not sure how they square that with the Beatitudes). But the RR crew are much keener on St Paul the Misogynist than Jesus anyway.
I see April gives her location as 'planet earth'(sic). Seems odd, because she's not on the same planet as most of humanity.

I always knew back in my younger years, some people were giving the Government TOO MUCH POWER and that these people in the Government would eventually go on the Path OF EVIL. Power Hungry & Greed
Sounds like you talk about the Bush government. Don´t worry... intelligent peoiple put an end to this by electing Obama ;)
This Healthcare is intruding on ones rights to Religious Freedoms of not having Healthcare.
Uh what?
Since when is public Healthcare a belief?
If it is then also are taxes. I don´t believe in taxes...nevertheless I would be fined or even thrown into prison if I would refuse to pay them...so the government is intrzuding my right to religious freedom of not having to pay taxes
Hm I don´t think this would work...Hovind already failed with this ;)

As a European, the arguments put forth against Obama's health care plans is simply dizzying. There are probably dozens of economic or sociolocical arguments for and against it... but forced abortions?!? Who came up with something like that?!

@gta
I assume their logic goes like this:
Obama is Pro Choice, therefore he is Pro Abortion
Because Obama is Pro Abortion (and because he is the antichrist), he must also be pro forcing women to abort
Because Obama is the antichrist and pro forced abortions, his national healthcare must be a plot to introduuce forced abortions and forced suicides into american society

i think most of you are misunderstanding poor april here. she most definitely has health insurance, she's not saying she would refuse it. she's just another right-wingnut who has no idea what the new health care reform bill entails and is ranting because she'll believe anyone when they tell her crap about forced suicides, death panels, etc. being put in place if and when the bill passes. in short, she's just being an ignorant lunatic with no qualms about showing the world what a tiny little brain she has.

Serriously, shut up. This whole "the government is gonna persecute us all!" nonsense is getting annoying. If you feel that threatened by the government why don't you just move to Somalia? Or failing that, get your information from other sources besides Sarah Palin's blog.

No one's talking about it because it's all batshit insanity on your part. Do you remember the Constitution? It's the document the Right has been using to wipe it's ass the past eight years. It was designed to protect you from the very things you mention.
The Bible, on the other hand is like a handbook for discrimination.

"FINED on Something you Don't Believe in"
Welcome to taxes.
There are plenty of things the government does that not all of the people believe in - military expenditures come to mind, and, while we're at it, doesn't the fact that religious organizations can enjoy tax-exempt status mean that everyone, including those who do not believe, have to pay more tax to make up for it?

Since when are health care choices religious choices, other than nutty Christian Scientists who don't believe in going to the doctor, ever. But nobody's going to force you to go to the doctor. If you get sick, you don't have to tell the government.

In your first paragraph you proclaim how you are right and you always knew blah blah blah, but in your second paragraph you aver that there WILL be forced abortions and their WILL be forced suicides. You remind me of GWB proclaiming "mission accommplished." You're taking credit before the event has happened.
P.S. Don't get a hard-on. Being compared to GWB is not a good thing.

Get over it. My tax money goes to shooting poor people which I don't support.
EDIT : On a side-note, health-care shouldn't be an industry because you'd literally be making money on people's suffering. I don't really care what people say, I know such systems collect debt, but it's just sort of the cost of running a country. Just like education. The contry will make it's money back because we'll have healthier and smarter people who can work better and smarter. Free healthcare and education isn't a burden, it's an investment.
EDIT to MA EDIT : AND it sucks that this POS computer @ work doesn't have spellcheck.
