Since you re referring to abortion, most abortions take place in the 1st third of the pregnancy when the "baby" is just a bunch of cells stuck together and is little more than a parasite who hasn't even developed a nervous system and thus can't experience any pain or suffering and lacks self awareness.
- Torture, on the other hand involves fully self aware and formed humans who do suffer terrible pain and despair and the results of said method are very questionable, since torture VICTIMS will agree to anything (even blatant lies) just to make it stop.

Late term abortions are quite rare. Fetuses can't feel pain until something like the 6th month of pregnancy. Most abortions take place long before that.
Torture causes prolonged physical and psychological pain to an adult with fully developed thoughts and feelings. And it rarely gets the desired results (accurate information and/or genuine repentance)
There is no comparison.

Saline abortions are very rare, perhaps not even done anymore. On top of that, the fetus's brain doesn't develop to a point where it can feel pain until the third trimester, so it can't experience torture like a prisoner can. Finally, abortions performed that late are for medical reasons, so the pwecious widdle soul you're bawling over could have died in the womb, been born dead, died shortly after birth, etc.

In fact at the point when 98% of abortions are performed the isn't any instrument small enough to "scramble" the tiy collection on cells, nor is there a brain to "scramble". Nor are they babies yet. Nor do people normally undergo abortions unwillingly, unlike torture which is, by it's very nature, forced upon people. Also it is neither your place, nor the place of the government to decide what anyone will do with his or her body.
I wonder what your opinion on abortion would be if you knew for a fact that the child would be raised to be a Muslim or Atheist, or if you were somehow able to know that the child would grow up to be a gay man, lesbian woman, or god forbid, a liberal? What would your opinion on abortion be then?
