Well, they did give you several chances to not look at the images and you did so anyway. Did they turn you on?

Please be aware that the Up Your Alley Fair represents the mainstream LGBT community as much as some backwoods, holy-roller snake-handling cults represents all of christianity.

I think gay men for the most part were pussified when they were younger and grew up gay or molested as young men. No one is born gay, that entire logic is bullshit.

Speaking as a gay man, if you met me, you would not know that I am gay. I wasn't pussified as a kid: I played little league, was in the cub scoust, raced BMX bikes, the whole 9 yards. I had a stable home and my parents are still married to this day. I just liked guys from the earliest age. I really became aware of men in a sexual way at the age of 12.

So, I experienced no truama, molestation, had a male influence during my formative eyars and I still turned out gay. Guess I was born that way...douche

That Fair was pretty wild. That is something I would not particpate in and I wonder how that behavior was allowed, legally, to go on. There are laws against any sex in public, public urination (even on someone elese), public nudity, etc.

Well, I will concede that no parent with a child, or minor child by themselves, should have been allowed at that event. Looking at the pictures though, I did not see any children in any of those shots so, I don't know what you are frothing about.

On the main Asshattery site, there was a picture of the Nashville pride event, where there were kids present, but the Nashville parade was nothing like the Up Your Alley Fair.

Sorry America doesn't bow to your wishes. How would like it if those of us who disagree with the frightening Jesus Camp or the delusional Creation Museum felt that this was parental abuse and those parent's rights should be revoked?

I had a look at the pics and yes it was no place for a child. But in the really heavy pics I saw no child anywhere, and I was looking for one (to see if the point was valid).

The only pics with children had men in leathers and otherwise specifically 'gay' outfits but nothing inappropriate whatsoever for a child to see. Indeed, I would only recognise the outfits as 'gay' because I understand so from cultural learnings (God now I sound like Borat!) - a child wouldn't even remark upon them particularly.

Ever heard of "to each his own"? I hate pink. I hate mayonnaise. I strongly dislike dogs. I don't go for overly muscular men. I can easily find many people that feel the opposite. Some men like women you deem to be fat and/or ugly. Hell, some men are even willing to get to know women *gasp* as people and overlook certain faults. I don't suppose you remember or care that gay people are more than gay, they're people, though fortunately most of them are nothing like you.

As for gay sex in public, we had a park which was known for men doing it in the bushes. I think the city came up with the perfect solution, they made it an off leash park. Somehow, public sex isn't as much fun when a pack of pups start leaping and barking at you.
