Exactly! A lesbian (and a gay man) would have to go through a lot a trouble to get a kid. Therefore, you can be reasonably sure she (he) wants one. Whereas it's much easier for straight couples to have an accidental baby that they don't want and don't care for.
So, where’s the greater risk of abuse again?
