I just sent that website the following message:
That is soooo not how statistics or logic work. If your first statistic is accurate, then all it means is that 85% of people who commit rape are re-enacting something they saw in a porn video. That says nothing about how many porn sales lead to rape or molestation. The quote above is equivalent to saying that because most communists are atheists, most atheists must be communists, when in reality, very few atheists are communists; or to saying that because most hard drug users also use marijuana, then most marijuana users must also use hard drugs, which is not necessarily true. This is called confusion of the inverse, or conditional probability fallacy. I'm not saying that your conclusion is necessarily wrong, only that it can't be proven with the premise you've given. If you don't have an actual statistic on how many porn sales result in rape or molestation, then your conclusion is purely made-up.
Also, even if, for the sake of argument, you could say "Since x% of B is a result of A, then x% of A will result in B", you can't specify that "there is an 85 percent chance that sale will eventually result in a rape or molestation OF A CHILD". Your first statistic only referred to rape/molestation in general, not specifically to rape/molestation of children.
You also fail to reference this study, so for all any of your readers know, you're making this up.

They claim to post all received messages on their website, but from what I've read it looks like they only post messages to which they can respond to their own satisfaction so who knows if my message will actually be posted there, or what their response will be.
