The only rapture I care about is the rapture I'll be facing in Bioshock 2.

"there will be many, many people on the earth that will say they are still Christians; believing that it couldn't have been the Rapture because they're still here"
So maybe the 'rapture' has happened already and you've been left behind? I mean, there's got to be more than 144,000 "missing persons" in the world, who's to say they're not living in their "sky mansions" right now?

Still waiting for the rapture to happen... just like the generation before you, and the generation before that, etc...
See where I'm going with this?

when we are Rapture, it's going to be AWESOME!!
30 years from now when you're in a nursing home you'll be saying the same thing.

and I bet that includes most of Rapture Ready.

I never cease to be amazed by the conceit shown by these people. I read the entire left behind series, I read the bible including revelations, I have been preached at for 44 years now, I probably know more than you do about your freaking rapture myth!
Why is it that you always assume that no one except those in your little R.R. cult knows anything about it? You constantly talk about how we will be fooled and misled, about leaveing religious materials behind to be found by us sinners and similar topics. Listen just because you people have the I.Q. of a box of stale cereal and have extreme difficulty with reading comprehension doesn't mean that we all do.
If millions of people suddenly whooshed off to heaven then I suppose I would be forced to believe in your sadistic bastard of a god. Thankfully for me it isn't ever going to happen because I would really hate having to worship that prick.
Please just get over yourselves, you aren't the special gaurdians of some secret mystical knowledge that no one else knows about! [/RANT]

This is when Satan is kicked out of heaven,
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you guys like to claim Satan got kicked out of heaven a long time ago?

@ Crazalus
Yeah but he still has access to visit and "condemn the saints before god" blah, blah, blah...
In revelations 12:7-9 satan/lucifer/the dragon is cast out of heaven and down to earth for good by the archangel Michael.

How 'American' the Rapture will be... It will be 'AWESOME' (sic). Do these idiots not realise how purely American usage (nothing wrong with it normally) in matters of univeral import makes them sound like hillbillies? If one were to expect acceptance of an argument that crosses oceans, then a form of standard English that implies some minimal level of education is what is required.
Yes it will be a matter that causes awe, should it ever happen - a most unlikely event. But it will not be so in the altered, nuanced way that modern America tend to use that word in its vernacular form of English. 'Awesome' has become a debased word from overuse.
I am particularly amused at the thought that Alternating Current will 'come about to bring that peace.' Who would have thought! All these wars must be the result of Direct Current.
Anyway, the convoluted thinking in this contribution lays lie upon lie until the only possible result is cosmic confusion - all of which can be brought to the door of the supposedly inerrant Bible.

Whoa, yeah! Death and destruction, loads of unsuspecting people being killed, all except for us perfect examples of Christian love here at Rapture Ready; I hope we get to see LOTS of blood! Awesome!

I thought to 'speculate' was to form an opinion based on incomplete evidence. As there's not the least little tiniest speck of evidence that the Rapture is any more than a bizarre deathcult's interpretation of one phrase in the rantings of a lunatic, I'd say AF4Liberty's opinion is something less than 'speculation'.
'Demented rambling' might be a better description of his post.

Xotan, you heretic! Blasphemer! "Alternating Current" will bring peace - what nonsense! You are a stumbling block placed by Satan to oppose the true faith.
The KJV says quite clearly that peace will flow from AIR CONDITIONING.

Here's how the rapture will happen.
Nothing.
Shocking.
There. I've just freed up your time, so you can discover some more boogers.
Also, I'm starting to think that to have access to the internet, one must either be a student or have a high school diploma (or equivalent). That seems like it would solve the "stupid" problem. Plus, increase the drive to actually get an education.
