Quote# 610

[On Jesus--and boy, does this guy need a history lesson]

So that fact that he came back to life(which has been historically verified), and the many miracles he performed that were confirmed historically from outside the Christian populace don't count as verifiable?

None of what you said has been verified.
So either you're:

1) A liar.

B) Gullible.

%) Ignorant.

or

§) Too dumb to live.

Whatever you chose is wrong...
The real and hidden answer is:
ALL OF THE ABOVE!

There is no historic evidence that Jesus ever lived. Apparently everyone was so amazed by him that they didn't begin to chronicle his exploits until it was about 100 years or so after his death. And to this day no one knows who they were.

Even if Jesus did exist, he sure as hell didn't come back from the dead. No human ever has. Period. And I guarantee you don't have the evidence to prove otherwise. Thanks for playing, though..

Somebody once said, \"History is something that never happened, written by somebody who wasn't there.\"

So if THAT is what you mean by \"historically verified,\" I accept the claim. But that is all it's worth.

The fact that Jesus appears only in the Bible and things written by those in possesion of that Bible and NOWHERE else doesn't stop statements like this at all

[On Jesus--and boy, does this guy need a history lesson]

No. He needs lessons about what History is, and how it is different from fairy tales.

That bollocks has been historically verified in the same way that it has been mathematically verified that pi = 3 and zoologically verified that bats are birds.

No, because...

oh, why bother? I've come to the conclusion life's too short to waste it arguing with the wilfully stupid.

No, dearie, because there are no verifiable historical evidence that he even existed. The only source is the Bible.
There are several stories, older than the Bible, about a deity dying and comming back to life.
